Using Gaim With Huawei In Suse Linux Eenterprise Desktop 10

Hello everyone, I am using Reliance NetConnect Data card make HUAWEI EC 321 and the O/s. is Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10. When I connect to Internet using this card, I am unable to Sign on in Gaim. Sign on icon is disabled. But When I connect to Internet using MTNL Triband connected to my Ethernet, I can Sign on and use Gaim. I have tried to conncet to Internet from Network Manager icon on my task bar as well as using Kinternet, but nothing works. Can anyone help me to solve this??? Thanks, Amol K.
