ok i found the method in my notes somewhere MEID to pESN convert MEID to SHA-1 hash and take last 6 digits and add 80 in front of it so pESN is 80 + (last 6 SHA-1 hash of MEID) ---------------- MIED = A1000000F222F2 SHA-1 Hash = 6285a01d4905c4a373b00f770bc192e264580c77 pESN = 80 + 580c77 pESN = 8058C77 NOW where on earth you can get rest of the digit in front of SHA-1 hash So leave all efforts and enjoy - bird watching

  9. Diabetes

Friends, Since long I wanted to start this discussion and today is the day, I have taken this topic because: According to WHO every fourth diabetic in the world is an Indian. According to WHO projections, the 30 million to 33 million diabetics in India will go up to 40 million by 2010 and 74 million by 2025. WHO has issued a warning that India will be the Diabetes capital of the world. Many of our family friends are diabetic and many more will become in time Treating diabetic is a lifelong affair it's not single shot you have to follow it on daily basis Nearly 95% of all patient that I come to know who are literates too, don't know anything about the disease, and are surrounded by myths. I shall try to cover all topics which are necessary for diabetic education - I shall request members to read and catch hold of a single diabetic patient and inform him so as we have at least some awareness about the disease. please post your queries along I shall answer them as I have time. Topics: Definition by WHO: Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Hyperglycaemia, or raised blood sugar, is a common effect of uncontrolled diabetes and over time leads to serious damage to many of the body's systems, especially the nerves and blood vessels. Source Definition Explained: Body requires energy to do all most all functions, this energy comes from glucose (sugar in broad term) any food we eat has to be in glucose form of has to be converted to glucose. this glucose then get absorbed (transported) in cell for its utilization (to get energy) this uptake of glucose is facilitated by Insulin. Insulin in a hormone (complex Chemical) produced by pancreas, so if pancreas is damage or there is no insulin or there is diminished insulin sensitivity of cell for glucose uptake, there will be excess sugar in blood, this forms basis of diabetes. Image for explanation let's have some queries in this then we shall have diagnostic criteria (Next to come).

Wondering what those galloping horses are doing above Google search box today? The horses in Google doodle -- that come to life the moment one clicks on the play button -- celebrate the 182nd birth anniversary of legendary photographer Eadweard James Muybridge. Born in England, Muybridge, who was of Dutch ancestry, spent a large part is life in the United States. He is revered for his pioneering work in animal locomotion which used multiple cameras to capture motion. He is also remembered for his Zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting motion pictures that pre-dated the flexible perforated film strip. The galloping horse shown in today's doodle was part of an experiment called 'Sallie Gardner at a Gallop'. The purpose of the photograph was to put to rest the debate over whether a horse's all four hooves get off the ground at the same time while it trots. Muybridge proved this through his series of 24 photographs shown on his Zoopraxiscope. Known by several names, Muybridge was born as "Edward James Muggerid". He changed his name several times, before finally settling for "Eadweard J Muybridge". In 1874, he killed his wife's lover. He was put on trial for the murder, however, was later acquitted as jury ruled his behaviour as "Justifiable Homicide." The Opera 'The Photographer' is believed to be based on his murder trial and was made by Philip Glass in 1982. Google doodles are the decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists. The first doodle was created by Larry Page and Sergy Brin in the year 1998 to mark the celebrations of the Burning Man Festival.
