My friend ported number to idea from reliance gsm, for first 2-3 days he too had both numbers active, so he had to hunt for another handset to support his 2nd sim. More over he had to recharge his previous service operator to make calls. Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk

^^ there is no major company that has established their manufacturing unit in India in terms or electronics, people with capability like notion ink struggle to export and get certification when done they dont have back support or hands to get them up - they just work to show US company they can and later sell it to them recover their money. unless there is a RnD and manufacturing going on in India we can not expect rates to come down and get new products as they come not as a dump ground

Its going to be difficult everywhere I think its wise to wait more.
