Does Freedom Plan 650 Have Unlimited Surfing
amitpagarwal replied to Kumar22's topic in Data services
i think he is using a single browser window and not a tabbed one like firefox or myie2 -
Reliance is promising 1GB of data transfer in Freedom plan. They are actually misleading you - they just provide 1000 MB of data transfer though 1 GB means 1024 MB. Additional 24 MB translates to Rs 120 as each MB costs 5 bucks. Anyone planning to sue them ?? URL dropping not allowed

Yes, I guess once BSNL broadband is available to everyone, Reliance might cut down rates.

Actually I have no other option other than Reliance. Just waiting for BSNL broadband launch .. they said Jan 15 but it's already a month now .. the day they launch BNSL BB, my RIM would be in the recycle bin Amit Agarwal URL dropping not allowed

alam, I also faced the exact problem, they changed my billing cycle to 45 days and so my bill shot up as I try to maximise my net usage during the start but reduce it at the end of billing cycle so that I stay in the 1 GB limit. But this change in billing cycle just made all my calculation go wrong. I called up *333 number of times and even wrote at their support email address but absolutely no response. do let me know if you are able to resolve this dispute ----------------- Amit Agarwal My Blog

But technically 1 GB is eq. to 1024 MB and not 1000 MB

basically i had the ras meter always running so i know how much bandwidth i consumed in the given time. however the rbill tells a different story oops i am sorry .. i meant the freedom plan where they charge 650 for 1 GB

I got my first bill after subscribing to the platinum plan and they properly screwed me up. All my calculations of data upload/download went wrong. What do I do now ?

Interesting! Can u provide us a link to dl that app? 22606[/snapback] Yes, I think I should have provided that earlier. RAS Graph & Stats is a network/dialup monitor and stats tool. It provides real time graph of traffic. Detailed stats provide daily/weekly/monthly/yearly stats/user defined range. Stop watch. etc.. This app which makes it so easy to monitor bandwidth, basically picks up where the old NetStat left off by providing stats for network card (cable/dsl/etc) RAS G&S is freeware and now Win9x/Win2k/XP compatible. It is definitely the best bandwidth monitor out there in the Free category. Download here Amit My Related Entry
