  1. Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 CDMA - Review

Ek aur Lafda, GPS not working on BB Pearl Flip 8230. I keep standing on rooftop for half an hour without any success. No GPS lock on any application, be it Garmin, GPSed, MG Maps, Google Maps, keep on searching for satellites. Officially Reliance Website says Pearl Flip GPS-No. But in options I can select the GPS Data Source as Device GPS. that means the handset is GPS enabled, but not able to get satellite lock. Has it been locked by the operator, Reliance. If yes, is there any way to unlock it. Wanted to try the GPSOne option in QPST but than realized that I don't have the SPC of the handset. So as of now there seems no wayout to use maps on this device.

  9. Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 CDMA - Review

My bad, still stuck with the same position. Not able to transfer my RCDMA to BB Pearl Flip. Even Local R-Web World are helpless, they could not sort out the issue and transfer my number on BB. Already requested forum member Amitji to look in to the matter. Hope it shall get resolved.
  10. Not true Rajan bhai, its not a CA's job. A good CA ends up all confusion, be it of clients' or of his own. Don't mislead him anyway, a very good comparison.
  11. +1, I think it will be a very good step. Now waiting for HDFC to start providing this facility to their customers. But android users will feel lack of java for using this. Only option is to use SMS.
  12. Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 CDMA - Review

Please note, if any body buying this handset. You can't transfer your Reliance Number using HCC (*228) on Reliance Official Blackberry Handsets. For transferring your number on Official BB, you need to visit Reliance Web World. I didn't knew it and tried the HCC and I am still stuck with it. Don't use HCC, go to webworld for your number on BB. Sorry for posting it so late.
  13. Hi all, recently bought BB Pearl Flip 8230 for RCDMA from FutureBazar. A perfect deal without any issues. Future Bazaar is a big group, and if some particular deal goes wrong, the whole business can't be held wrong, exceptions are always here. Regards

Something strike in my mind, can it be a refurbished handset? If yes, how do we know this?
  16. Sprint Samsung Epic 4G - The Beast Is Here!

Both are totally different without any comparisons, better you keep both. Google Maps require data and don't provide voice navigation (except you are using modified Google maps like Brut Google Maps which provide voice navigation and caching of map tiles on SD card). On the other hand, Sygic / NDrive maps are totally offline maps with voice guided navigation.
  17. Thanks dear for your discount link, just got in hand Pearl Flip 8230, will update soon about EVDO. Regards
  18. Ndrive 10.1.15 (1147) H With Maps

There is no comparison for both, TP is Windows Mobile Phone and whereas Hero is on Android. Also User interface differs from company to company, and user taste. For me, Garmin is best in navigation and I always wish that Garmin should be there for all android phones. Though I use Sygic on my Incredible due to its better coverage area, but UI of NDrive is better than Sygic. In your case, both the maps are provided by Map my India (Company) be it with Sygic navigation software on Android or MMI navigation software for windows Mobile. As far as the map coverage in concerned, both are the best based on there OS platform. For India Maps, you can't get better than Sygic MMI on android platform.
  19. BIRTHDAY WISHES!

    Happy Birthday Dear Kamal ji
  20. ^ Yes, you are right, but E-Lite plan is good at least for mails and msgr. I had ordered for one 8230, its worth a deal for official Reliance Blackberry in just Rs. 7490/-. Will try to get EVDO, thanks all for this good find.
  21. Reliance HSD / EVDO / Netconnect Broadband+ coverage update

^ Its not yet there in PM's city (Amritsar), who cares for the CM's city.
  22. Reliance HSD / EVDO / Netconnect Broadband+ coverage update

They will be definitly Launching, it is rich circle compared to UP Surely, If Ambala and Jagadhari from Haryana are in EVDO network, Jalandhar and other Punjab cities should not be far away. RCDMA is expanding its EVDO coverage.
