Hi dear, I don't think you can convert a jar file into cod file, and what's the need to do that. Jar file can be installed directly w/o conversion also. BBs support java and I had used a few games in jar format directly on my 8830. However, if you want to get jad or alx file for any cod file, utility for the same had been posted somewhere in this thread or in the thread of "Reviews and Hacks" by name of "Create a Jad". And what I remind that I had also posted a guide for using firefox browser on PC for OTA download of cod files on PC. I had used the same method to download Google Maps 4.4 for BB 83xx posted by me today. If you still had some problem, do let me know, I will get the needed cod/alx/Jad files for you.

Will do that, but the zoom levels will have to be low since with high zoom levels each city is over 200mb. So all india would be many GBs. Will try if i can get upto 14 zoom level. Maybe it'll be better if you get some selected cities with 17-18 zoom levels. Right said, it will run in GBs, I had downloaded the same for MG Maps (Zoom - 5 to 15) (though to use it with BB) and the size came to 18.2 GB (46,97,549 Files, 895 Folders), I didn't have any SD card to try these, so just using my idle hard disk capacity. I doubt if any S/w (MG Maps or Trekbuddy) can handle that much of files / size. I think it will be total waste of time/data usage to download all India maps, better to download the required city, route maps. Regards

It comes by default in Sprint Stock ROM, I have a copy of the same, you can try it, if it works? Unzip, has both apk & odex files Regards teeter.zip

Dear Parin, This is the problem with some custom roms. I also faced the same on my Mogul with DCD Rom 4.1.2. I tried this method and it worked for me, on Mogul. Hope it shall also work on Diamond. Regards Edit - Some member on the given link has confirmed the same for Diamond also

That is true for BB8830 GSM Part, but I never faced this problem on Verizon Storm 9530 either on RCDMA or GSM. GPS (either with MG Maps or Google Maps) worked flawlessly.

I don't think so. You see, until Dr Mufaddal posted the solution for 1X data on imported BBs, all of us thought it was impossible to get this, and suddenly we got this gift from him. How about importing the CSV file in your google contacts and than use google sync. I thinks it is the best provided you have Gmail account and you can use data on your BB.

I don't think its worth it. Airtel didn't give good browsing / download speed as far as my experience is on Airtel Prepaid BIS with my BB8830 a few months back. Currently I am not using Airtel, so can't comment. Regards

Earlier they had roaming facility only in MTS circles and now they are giving roaming facility even in circles not covered by MTS. One more thing, right now this facility is only for Mblaze Premium Modem and not for Mblaze Standard Modem, so keep it in mind when buying Mblaze.
