I am trying since last 7-8 days with *333 operators (& had spent good amount of my hard earned money on those calls as complaint no. 198 is always busy.) for getting the PORT code from Reliance. I have got the following complaint IDs 145947235 dtd 28/01/2011 146042939 dtd 30/01/2011 146134509 dtd 31/01/2011 146205624 dtd 01/02/2011 But Still even today, I am not able to get the PORTING REQUEST Code after sending sms in correct format. I am getting reply from 1901 as "Dear Reliance Customer, Your Request could not be processed. Please try after some time. Thank you" The CC is suggesting stupid options like restart phone & then send, reinstall the sim & try to use another handset etc.

A sms from 1901 states that Dear Reliance Customer, Your request could not be processed. Please try after some time. I am sending correct sms : PORT 90211xxxxx to 1900 I am using this number since last 1 year. I am in MAHARASHTRA. Plz guide.

@KAPILDEV Thanks but I am sending sms in the correct format. I tried the same from on my R-CDMA & got the Code. But I don't want to change operator for my CDMA.

I am sending sms to port from my R-GSM (MAH) since last 4-5 days. But I am not getting the Port Code. Instead getting a sms from 1901 stating that "Dear Reliance Customer, Your Request could not be processed. Please try after some time. Thank you." Any body using R-GSM from Maharashtra has got the port code ???

I am using a prepaid GSM since last 1 year. My account balance is getting deducted by Rs.5/- daily since last 8-10 days. The CC (connected after thousands of tries) says that I have activated cricket pack that cannot be deactivated by them. I am complaining since 16th Sept with Service Assurance Cell by mail. They have told me by 18th Sept that the said pack is deactivated & stopped responding my mails. I got a message too for deactivation of the pack. But daily balance deduction of Rs.5/- is going on since then even on today. I am using Nokia 5800 Express Music & have deleted the setting for R-WORLD or R-Connect as I have got WIFI access at both home & Office. I have not activated any VAS pack from my end other than the SMS DD Pack (Re. 1/- daily Deduction which is too deducted daily & I have no issue with it). Further, if the pack was active on my account, I should have got Ball-by Ball updates for cricket matches as per the PACK. But I have not received any single update. I am really frustrated with R-COM. Can any one guide what to do ???

I think they discarded updating about CDMA handsets. Their consumer electronics website which includes CDMA handsets is also not updated http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/mobile-phone/mobile-phone/index.idx?pagetype=type_p2& It is very bad from a reputed company like Samsung to keep mum about their new handsets and colourfully showing their obsolete handsets in their websites. Even the chinese rebranded mobile phone companies are updating their websites.
