I still am not clear on this. How do you get evdo deactivate in the first place. Twice in the past when I wanted to do handset change on evo design and 3d. My request was denied from Reliance saying hsd service is activated so cannot change handset. I have called cc and visited web world to no avail. Ultimately lost those two numbers as they are stuck in those faulty handsets. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

is there anyway i can find out whether i am getting evdo rev A or rev B signals on my mts ultra wifi data card. connection status says HSD but then even on my reliance evdo data card it says the same. -

^^^ @KD me and my dad have been on cdma since forever. gsm is only needed for him for his europe travels. so even though it has gsm support thats not something to be overjoyed about at the moment. this i bought for him and right now its very inconvinent for him without his push data. his work relies on it. -

still stuck on moto x verizon for data with reliance cdma omh. sms and calls work. but no data which is sorely missing. Update: after putting a new omh SIM in Android 4.4.2 Moto x Verizon evdo data works perfectly smooth

if this is applicable in a generic manner then we dont have to register meid of most phones with global option. i guess i can simply buy something from anywhere and use this tutorial to make life easy. quite sometime back. a certain member had too posted a tutorial for handsets with root access to enable ruim mode. @VN bhai you have posted above that if nv is already flashed then this wont work. so just suppose if i buy something of sprint/verizon even those pieces would be flashed already to their original carrier??? whether new or used. or you mean specifically that it should not be flashed to custom network like our rcdma. please clarify this bit here. -

I don't require root in Moto x as its for my dad. Yes it has retained everything on omh but gsm not tested. Tested again I was on Wi-Fi. No data on omh, only call and sms. It's on 4.4 right now. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2
