it's not just about pricing the CDMA version. the desire 600c GSM retails at 26k so logically the CDMA sibling will be higher for qualcom cost. look at desire sv & vc. desire x & xc. all 'C' suffix phones are costlier. even corby CDMA was much more priced then it's GSM counter part. Screen Guard For Touchscreen Devices - They Are Really Worth It!
::: VA ::: posted a topic in General Technical Discussion
I was always adverse towards screen guard on any device sporting gorilla glass. Gradually outdoor usage proved fatal and I saw faint scratches on the devices. Somehow I thought they were as strong as my watch glass which has sapphire glass and withstand any abuse for years without any scratch. Now initially I just went for any cheap cheap screen guard which was cut for my model. But continued to despise the finger prints, reflections and sticky surface with sweaty palms. I accidentally bought anti glare matte screen guard for my dad's tablet and it changed everything. Screen wouldn't show my face in reflection even when outdoors. Rarely saw finger prints and best of all given the humid weather or sweaty fingers, touch would glide much better. As somehow now the fingers feel less frictions or stickiness. I am amazed how much it has improved the response and speed. If you have a big screen touch phone or tablet which most of us on this forum have. It's worth every penny to spend a little and get this on your screen. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2 -

Using a Xolo Q800, specs are more or less the same only difference is the Battery in Lenovo is higher capacity, the display may be a bit better. Don't think it justifies for paying so much more. As any old user of Xolo q800 has the same hardware . you said it yourself bro MAJOR differences Battery in p780 is just double of q800 display is hd 1280*720p 5" vs 960*540p 4.5" Lenovo's after sales networks vs Xolo Dual sim vs single sim I would any day pay more for these differences. in fact no other smartphone that is feature rich and can compare the battery life. if your jaquar can give great mileage by just paying bit more then of course i will pay more

SCAM is possible in eBAY with PaisaPay too... HOPEFULLY here is one example..
::: VA ::: replied to KanagaDeepan's topic in The Lounge
I couldn't agree more that this is fishy but everything doesn't end with positive feedback left and item receipt. those of you who haven't tried yet the eBay buyer's protection program under which every transaction is covered. secondly even with paisapay you have the option to claim item not as described. so even when you are wise enough to fall prey to this kind of password scheme which doesn't work. you can claim on eBay till 30days after the purchase. long back a power seller sold a phone case as being OEM leather product. after using it for 20 it showed it's true color and started wearing off. I made a claim under protection program and got 50 % cash back and didn't even had to return the product as the seller failed to respond appropriately. so there can be crappy stuff on eBay and you might order against your better judgement but there are strong fall back options. be it any eBay site Indian or international. you are safe with eBay. it was launched two months ago around june. if you use it with reliance cdma prepaid then you get 3gb data per month for 12 months on recharge of 103 per month. here is the official link http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/handset/CDMA_offers.html

yeah, the price is a bomb. i guess six months down it will be a more price to product ratio justifiable. its the top notch flag ship product right now. so only for those you love to have the current gen stuff as it comes.

it's official Indian phone so no programming. check HTC India websiteSent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

sorry this is slight off topic, desire xc has also similar dual sim slots. at the back it reads for the first slot CDMA/UMTS and for second slot it reads GSM but none of this reflects inside the dual sim networks settings. now when i tried pushing a gsm sim in the first slot, it didnt read it. so is it going to be similar in this case of htc one too where it says SIM 1 CDMA & 3G like they are manufacturing same unit to be launched in different places as 3g+gsm & evdo+gsm combo.
