it came ota and i even downloaded it but while installing it aborted saying failed. later i was told by parin bhai that one should not do this update as it will probably ruin settings.

you my friend definitely need to spend a year or two with android phones. you will only then know that how every functionality you have a solution on android.i cant even imagine listing the possibilities. but only and only if you are a smartphone user. in today's date there is no other mobile os as flexible & customizable like android. as for anyone who cribs about windows. look at the job it has done like no other. its the os for the masses again. they had issues through out moving from xp to vista but eventually managed everything with win 7. but pre xp days, have used a dos or win 98 machine for long then you will know what a breather xp was then. now win 8 is coming with more excitement, improvement & promises. Now this kind of analogy with availability & constant en devour for development is commendable.

cmos battery costs 20-100 bucks at the max. but did you try getting into safe mode of windows. does it still boot up. at least that will confirm whether ur windows is faulty. cos if it still does its definitely hardware issue. how is ur ram distributed. if you have empty slots then pls change ram from existing slots. sometimes there something that deposits over time and makes it difficult for system to read ram and it goes into boot cycle.

i have used bsnl evdo here in jaipur for past 6 months on 750/- unlimited plan. i can assure you the speeds were sarkari totally. reliance cdma with 1x would respond faster. only at rare occasions at night it would jump to 1mbps for some time. but thats not what you pay for. i also have reliance netconnect + data card and it any day preceeds bsnl in performing.

imho. high specifications are not always required. remember the old days with droid eris and hero. everybody loved using them with 600 mhz & 256 ram. i know my few relatives who use such samsung & lg phones and happily go by with things they need. ghz & cores sound fascinating but are not needed by everyone.

price should be 1200-1500. will need confirmed bookings as will order in one go to avoid dad any hassle.

My photon stock rom takes full hd videos 1920 x 1280 p and I use it alot. Often publish on you tube. Search on you tube for iwaschrist. Dont bother with yours it will take sometime before you can have the same on yours but will definitely get it.

they might have poor coverage but best 3g speeds. basically more realistic unlike claims only on paper by other networks.

i m getting lot blank network msgs after data session or sms or calls. does anyone got any idea. earlier it wasnt so and i have used few gsm networks. it almost looks like its trying to push remaining balance or something but nothing shows.

what you wish is not very far. and its going on in many countries. but with any new service it takes a while to implement it on mass basis. depending upon customer interest need & usage type. I am sure there are plenty of people like you with specific needs. but there still many i know who like to use it for one hour max in a week. but just like being hopeful for rcdma we finally got unified affordable hsd data plans. 3g will come down too once 4g is mass spread. already airtel & bsnl are working for it.

now i m stuck with evo design 4g. bought from sadik bhai few months back. he didnot configure 1x or evdo settings. or even voice + sms as i had told him that currently will use it on gsm but didnt mean not on cdma at all. finally the only solution was to send it him. did that and very speedily he returned but interestingly he chose to only restore meid, prl & nam so voice & sms work. but somehow he managed to neglect data settings again. really stuck now. as would like to use it for data too. anybody here can help me??????????? So no one will guide me what to do. Some kind Guru sent me nv dump file but it didn't work. Even back end evdo is activated but no data on evo design. It's become a GSM only phone. at least for usage on mobile its great to see airtel offering cheapest option of 250 for 1 gb. though smartbytes is still not valid for rajasthan but what i read is they intend to inform you when you approach your limit through sms. and any which ways you dont need unlimited plans for mobiles. your wifi , mifi & broadband is for that kind of usage on pc. i have already covered in another thread that use Onavo count - free anddroid app on mobile & tab to keep check & notification about your usage, if any app is hogging your net, you can fully control your data usage.

plans updated for rajasthan . i like the 250 for 1gb most. as i used to recharge 200 for 500 mb on my photon. now for 50 more bucks i get 1 gb.
