  3. Update Update.. At last the installation is done at my place and the connection is up and running. Speedtest shows speed of 30-40 Mbps but opening a website or watching a online video is slow.     A few observations about jiofi...purchased yesterday and got activated in 15 min since it was eKYC here in Delhi... 1. The simcard provided is locked to jiofi and it will alays show data exhausted if you try to use it in a different device confirmed this by inserting device in a phone as well as a unlocked hotspot. 2. RIL has somehow capped the speed of the sims provided through preview offer...I have a simcard which I got through samsung preview offer and I am using the same in unlocked hotspot. The speed comes around 10 Mbps but when I connect using jiofi which is placed next to my hotspot the speeds are >30 Mbps. I checked and confirmed both devices are on 2300 band and same tower. 3. After this I inserted my preview simcard in jiofi and as suspected the speeds are only 10Mbps and hence reached conclusion that Jio is favoring its own devices over partner preview simcards Also to add...I confirmed the speeds with various speedtest apps as well as downloaded some files... Finally site survey done at my home today....installation scheduled for tomorrow...lets see how it goes...also the initially told amount of 2500 has been increased to 4000 but the good thing is that complete 4000 is a refundable security...so if u dnt like the setup, just return the whole thing and get your 4000 back..which makes it a complete free service for 90 days...In my opinion its a win win situation...   8. Hello Sir, I followed your tutorial for unlocking XT1055 but unfortunately not able to get any gsm signal after the procedure. But more than that I wanted to ask that whenever I turn the phone on with a SIM, I am getting a notification saying "Activating your phone, please do not turn off". Is this has something to do with the unlocking ?? My phone is on 5.1. Any help will be appreciated

  10. Got a call from Jio executive yesterday based on my query on JioLink that I registered in a Reliance store. As per him they are only doing pilot installation i.e. very few connections per tower.   11. Hello Gurus..... I have a US Cellular Moto X which was working fine with Tata OMH till a few days back. Recently it got update to 5.1 and now its stuck on "Activating your phone". After about 10 min it says activation failed and will retry after restart. I am able to use the phone for other things but no network. Gurus Please Help !!! Thanks

  20. As I have mentioned in my other posts the reliance omh have to be the latest gen. Ones that come already cut as micro Sim then you get them cut as nano from market.sent from my Moto G - Reliance I am using the latest gen relaince micro cut to nano but Data is not working for me in USC Moto x.....Any suggestions.... Also there is no Assisted Dialling Option in 4.4.2 so any other way to achieve that apart from prefixer ?? Can I force my phone to 1x only ??? As of now it keeps constantly switching between 1x and 3G resulting in the number going out of reach most of the times.. Help is appreciated...

    Hi Vinod, I got a Sprint G2 yesterday and after making it RUIM only in DFS, the Talk n Text are working fine for RCDMA but no Data...I haven't touched anything else but I can see that the phone was activated on a sprint account as I was able to see parameter values in DFS. I would really appreciate if you or some other guru can help me in getting the DATA on this. PS : The name of the network is shown as some Junk characters like "RJ1KLA1e" instead of Reliance Thanks Himanshu
