Hi techies I want help on this topic I have a laptop with Win XP OS and I want to transfer various files from this machine to my desktop at work which has a win 2000 os using a cross cable... Niether am I allowed to change the LAN configuration on desktop nor can I put my laptop on LAN... Few days back I saw a program on a IBM laptop with one of my friends which uses some kind of file transfer technique using IP address... It was meant to be used only on IBM machines so could not use it but my friend used it to pump in information to my laptop without changing network settings... he just gave a ping command on the machine then used that software... Is any freeware available to do this on a toshiba laptop and a assembled PC

I found this software on net today... tried my level best to use this for LG6130... I dont want to type messages on my phone... this software basically uses at commands on the phone to send sms.. I have on net pack and I want to use similar software instead of going online for messaging someone.. can some one help me with this??? Techis can some similar software be developed for our phones... 20K is far too much I got a toshiba P4 two years back for 10K... That was when laptops were still selling for 60-80 K starting price... and three years old laptop anyways have got screwed up batteries... External writer - Not a big deal you get it all around... The problemis to carry all assceries

Go to LG mobiles site its available for download there and I have had been syncing my phone since the first day never faced problems with phonebook schedule memeo to do and photos... photos no upload possible..

I am facing a strange problem now a days when I go to camera option the phone when pressed take photo just stays on the option and does not show anything.... and if you press the buttton it goes to resolution tab.... and if you press back or any selection and press the back button again it comes back to take photo menu so effectively its impossible to click photo wid this phone anyone any ideas about this... no damage never dropped new phone few days back I got software upgraded... tooo

friends using bitpim is not only limited to sending wallpapers and ringtones may be later we can use it to download/send msgs for comp directly using a datacable and a 6130 phone like a nokia phone right....

if you are using lglink other things are deactivated on the handset software Bitpim does not work with LG6130 tell us too if you are able to do it... phone resetting is a normal procedure check if you have locked the phone using lock mode... Admins can kindly append this post under 6130 topic

hey I was trying to attach the post containing this matter but I am not able to do that.... anyways I have a LG cable bought from Reliance store but in device manager there is no indication for usb to serial controller... what do I do???

welcome to the gang... No handycam/video cameras in reliance till now just simple camera phones... LG6130 is good for less price... around 6000 at dealers...

check for LG SYNC icon running in your task bar right click on that press exit try again.... You will be done. Actually LG desktoplite is blocking the port...
