    Outgoing to BSNL, Vodafone, Aircel, Airtel are working Incoming from BSNL, Vodafone are working. Aircel not working, Airtel could not check.. Will try sms outgoing and incoming tomorrow.. i am using a low end phone so i cannot update about gprs, edge etc..

    I found the cost calculation using call records timer after activation i had Main Bal: 23.75 Local: 10.50 Note: Daily free talktime can be used for only local calls I made 5 mins call to local reliance and 10 mins to local vodafone so (5*1)+(10*1) = 15 Rs This 15 rs was reduced first from local talktime ie 10.50 and the remaining 4.50 was deducted from main bal.. so local became 0 and main become 23.75 - 4.5 = 19.25 this is my current main balance.. the shop guy said here first 2 days 10 rs will be added and after that 5 rs per day.. will post more details tomorrow..

  10. i got the sim and its working.. i dont know why the network was not showing in 6233 and 6030.. i am now getting good signal inside home. i heard from the shop that they are activating towers one by one here.. so i guess my area tower would be activated today ie, launch day..

    they just came, measured coverage using some instruments, also noted the gps location.. after review they said they will try to improve coverage with the current cdma infrastructure.. if that fails then they will recommend mumbai to install cdma antenna in the nearby gsm tower.. so i feel little happy now.. lets see how they responds in taking further actions..
  17. I am having 2 RUIM card. when i used one card (2 years old sim)in my nokia 6265 the signal shows only one bar.. when i use other Ruim card(new sim) the signal toggles between 1 and 2 bars.. does sim card plays any role in antenna signal reception ??

  22. Annoyed with the quality of food served on trains? Don't fret! Just call a toll-free number to register your complaints. Railways has recently launched this service to register such complaints and get feedback to improve its catering services. All that one has to do is pick up a phone and dial 1800-111-139 to offer suggestions as well as lodge complaints relating to catering services on the railway network. To make the service more user-friendly, toll-free numbers have also been introduced at five different zones including North, East, West, South and South Central zones. The service, which will be available round-the-clock, is being offered by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). "We have also started a central control number to pass on suggestions or complaints received to the respective zones from where the calls have originated," an IRCTC spokesperson told a news agency. Empowering passengers would be the cornerstone of this service, he said. Complaints and suggestions received would be acted upon immediately and the passenger will be informed of the steps initiated, the spokesperson said. While the central control number would be 11-23345300, the number for north zone would be 011-23221147 and for East zone 033-26601743. Similarly, the number for West, South and South Central Zone would be 022-22618067, 044-25353341 and 040-27716145 respectively. The IRCTC spokesperson said, "If the complaint is found justified enough, contract of the caterer can also be terminated." He said passengers can also post their suggestions on the IRCTC website www.irctc.com. Hoping that the service would instantly strike a chord with passengers, he said it would also help the railway staff attend to complaints in the shortest time possible and properly assess what the passenger expects from the catering unit.
