try resetting rworld and connect again...

ok thanks. bcoz i am already facing poor cdma coverage in my area.. so have to make sure of gsm signal before switching, lets wait and see..

this is a good news. we can enjoy the best network from both gsm and cdma in a single handset. but my doubt is will rcom provide more (gsm+cdma) combined handset or we have to buy the available ones from market ? will be good if nokia comes out with gsm+cdma

please try the following 1. flurry - when i open this it says unable to connect to internet 2. cricket companian - it says GPRS connection not found 3. Gmaps - it says this application requires a data connection these applications were working for me till december first week.. Flurry.jar Cricket.jar

i am able to use opera, mig33 and skype.. but i am not able to use, Gmaps, flurrymail, cricket companian etc.. do u face similar issue ?

Yes I did.... that means u are not charged for 3rd party website browsing through opera. i am in L1 plan last 2 days i am chking the unbill amount and i am also not being charged for browsing through opera.. Let me wait for my bill. but they should not block using opera without subscribing to any data plan..

i browsed using opera yesterday and today my unbilled amount is not increased.. i wonder !!!

yes u are right.. yesterday i used internet in opera and also made few calls.. today unbilled amount is added with only the call charges.. so its better to wait till next bill. but my next bill is only at Jan 11, 2009..

i am also in the same confusion. anyone of the following will happen soon... 1. we can continue enjoying mobile internet without being charged ie not through rworld but thru opera or laptop.. [this hardly happens] 2. we will be charged 5p/10kb for 3rd party websites [5p/10kb for network will not be charged as we are in dapo or L4 or L1] 3. soon accessing 3rd party sites from laptop and opera will be blocked..

i am still able to use opera without subscribing to any data plan.. does that mean i am being charged 5p/10kb ?? [note: i am in L1 plan.]
