the cost of internet storage devices is know in terms per mb nothing. they can show you two ads and make a profit. this is google's move for a wider plan. as internet comes of age and speeds of over 100mbps are now available to home users and soon enough even 1gbps we won't require hard disk's for our storage.

it's just rs. 1500 for a month at 20mbps no cap . that's heaven for me. and yeah we can forget our it aspirations with bsnl and the government in charge.

well ports are not blocked on r connect.that whois data form dacodecz. shows that r connect users aren't behind a nat either. i am sure security will be beefed up by reliance when broadband is launched in earnest. also i feel broaband users are hte ones most at risk.and also most likely to do harm.hence security must be tighter then for a secondary purpose connection.

Okay i Can't give you a detailed description. But the ports being blocked are totally for security reasons. they block services like tftp protocol net bios scan etc. you will never need them . they are meant primarily for gaining information about a computer. the best thing about reliance network is their infrastructure. low cost proper deals and the fact that p2p applications won't be blocked and function better because there is no nat(network address translation layer) which is prominent in all local cable internet providers and even bsnl . because htey split a given ip into many addresses hence the bandwith isn't dedicated. i will get a reliance broadband connection as soon as it is available in my city.because not only am i satisfied customer of r connect services.but also they are the only one with proper customer care.

you will get 100mbps to reliance network. this means access to vod and mod and games on reliance network at about 100mbps. kind of like one big lan gaming heaven.

16 KB/s ain't that much .well hope it's just the start.
