hey guys, finally went n got an lg 6130, seems like a good toy. stuff like a nice screen n practical user solutions make it pretty cool,the key pad aint that good. i bougt this data cable cord from a local market for like 300 rupees had a lil box which the shop keeper told me wopuld charge the fone, the dman thing just dint work n no r connect nuthin worked n neithr did it charge, i returned the thing n went n got a better quality cord for 500 without that lil box in between the wire so it dosent quite charge the fone but after trying many many times rconnect finally worked when i selected the COM 3 port in port options. after that i dlaoded the lg pc sync n link fmr the url given on the rimweb site, whn i run the lg lite thngeee it just asks me for 2 ports to select from ..one is com 1 n n the otehr is com 2....i guesss id i can somehow select com 3 n if it did appear there ,thn it would detect my phone while tyrn to sync n link.... my sync n link aint workin jus shows conectin to phone n disconnects in 47 seconds..... plzzz tellll me what to do....coz really wnat this feature to work n the bloddy relaince ppl n lg ppl dnt knw nuthn abt ths..... thnx <TOPIC MERGED!>

hey guys wassupp, this forum has done a good job for most people.I currently have a samsung sch-191, want to chnage my phone.Want major major advise and help from you people.have a lot of questions. 1) Having seen nice nokia fones like 6600 n so on with so many tit bit fun functions and awsome user friendliness, im so tempted to give up mr dhiru bhaiz pineer offfer, the only good thing here is the free sms.REALLY WONDERING GUYSS.....coz if i am buying a new handset , u guys think i might as well buya good nokia set for like 12000 or 10000 rupess????? 2) Another big quiestion in my mind is if i do stick on with reliance then what is the ebst phone available as on date???whats up with this nokia 6255??isnt there any sexyyy nokia fone that relaince have tied up with?i really thought that lg 6130 was the best bet that relaince has on offer currently....but lg is lg n a god nokia phone is so refreshing........plz teme which is the best fone to go in for dont quite mind the budget...want a good loaded fone like 6600 and its price n features 3) If i do buy a lg 6130 thn wats the best price n the lower n upper price range that i ash n could pay for it.....coz one dealer told me he wd give it for rs 5800 n i could retain my old number. 4) IS it worth waiting for some good fones that are surely gonaa be launched soon(no hear says n gossips plzz)if thr is somthn dats gona be int he stores with relainc in a mth or so thn its worth waitin...... plzzzzz advise i need to get goin n pikina fone coz this damn sch 191 lasts for jus 30 minz of talk time........duno really thnkin of shftin to airtel or somthn good n have a nice fone......but my damn sms usage is 1500 sms evvy mth....teme what to do n gimi some good solid gyan so dat i can decide..... thnxxxx love u all akshay

haha.... 1k for sch 191..man il give u 3 for 750 plz get mine sold off here in lucknow they dont offer more thn 400-500. really thnkin but i thnk as of now for the next month 6130 wil be the best bet sad that its got such limited fones man reliance.............. the day dapo ends its 3 yrs contract im wonderin if reliance wil be worth it lol... coz free smsing is the only good thing in here man.....

now basant this really helped.that was a hell of a good effort to clarify stuff. this sounds secure to me.hope they dont suddenly introduce some kind of chnage so thta ppl stop doing the upgradation without spendin 7000. now i think il go get one 6130.....think its the best handest they have on offer. would things be worth it if i waited for like another 2-3 months???is it worth it.... any price slashes?any new models? do leme know.....n thnx a ton basant that clarifictaion really helped.

heyy chirag its really wierd man i went to the web world the guy goes lg 6130 is for rs. 7000. i said cumon man the other outlet its for somthn around 6150,so the guy goe that must be a provisioned set with the number already loaded on it...so i said ok gimi that and then chnage it with my number so that my sch 191 get the new number n the lg 6130 gets my old number...he said no sir the provisioned set shd only be used for a new number and for upgardation we are told to give only unprovisioned sets which is for 7000. i told him that another guy is wiling to use 3 hcc and he said that the prep paid number set for rs 6150 wil work for me....so this guy goes no sir dont even take that risk...coz ul loose ur number n it wont be eva retrived and plus ul loose the rs 6150....so please just go in for this rs 7000 set coz its s imple that for upgardaing any fone an unprovisioned set has to be used which is more expensive...in our case its for rs 7000. im ina fix????and wondering coz what if i loose the dman money n it dosent work....n what if my number is lost for good........or is he jzu bull****ting to sell his rs 7000 scehme???? please tme guysss...coz if thrs any risk thn il pay the 7000......... has any body done this??????? chirag teme plz......thnx

Guys hang on before u actually run in to buy a new handset. the prices of handsets are said to have fallen further. I was going to buy an Lg 6130,but now im ready to wait a bit n wil buy it in march..coz newzz the nokia fones had lowerd its prices some days back and its the other cellphone companies to do that now.... so plz wait wd be too cool if we could get the lg 6130 for jzu some 5000 odd bucs.. here is the proof of falling prices.... the article says the following: Key Largesse: Import duty on imported PCs and some IT products cut to 0%. man if u ask me iv done so much reading n evn gone to web express n actually compared the nokia 6225 n the lg 6130 n the lg 6000 trust me i feel the lg 6130 is really really good deal in that kina money....its a package: decent camera speaker fone decent batter decent display decent looks ease in transfering pics to pc R WORLD ENABLED(PROBABLY THE BEST HANDSET FOR R WORLD) WHEREAS THE LG 6000 HAS NOTHING IN TI EXCEPT A GOOD CAM N GOOD SOUND.!!--PERIOD.
