They committed a 8-9 day stand by time n i guess dats whn one puts the display on minimum n stufff n no jazzyy features are used.. the usefullness of the phone reduces if the batt life is bad coz.... what do u do with the features is there aint no backup. my signal strength is about one bar short of full usually.... what do we do bout this.... coz all expensive phones have awsome batery life

ppl plz help..im worried... my battery aint lasting more than a day or lil more even when im not fiddling around with the phone tooo much.... charge time is about 3-3.5 hrs which is normal i guesss...... bt scared abt the battry dyn down so fast... what wd all the features be of use if the battery dies so soon plz reply.. its the 3rd time im askin bout the same issue

Yeah same kina thing on my handset too... but very hard to notice..please read my post n let me knw if the same happens with u wit the battery time.

heyy people i finally went n bought the phone..it seems like a sexy toy smart n sleek lookin thing.... happy with it all n all.. bt paid 15 k for it so it better make me happyyy 1)the bloody battery keeps charging for like 4 hrs?? does that happen with ur fones too??? 2)n it dsnt last for more than 2 days.. n i keep fidlin with the applications n music on it quite a bit .. mayb dats y... 3)please teme what brand of the memory card to buy i wana upgrade it to 1 gb..... n also the price..thnx a ton have fun akshay

i tried the games like snooker mario cricket bt thy aint very good n the inbuilt games r btr n more excitin n realistic..... ne one who knws some games dat r really as if thy wer as good as the dufault ones... lmee know

I think this one will be the best n top of the line fone for reliance for the next one year n at 15000 its gona be a sexy buy..what say u guys??? I think its pretty well loaded....2 megpixel cam,bluetooth mp3 player etc etc my only concern is that i hope its not too bulky n uncomfortable to hold...n obviosuly hope the interface n keypad n al is good..n nothing above 15000 wil make it good value for money... But im waiting for it......not buying anything before that now....coz dats gona be the best for the next one full year..dont hink they are gona launch any higher variants than this in 2006.

yeahh but even the 6165 wdnt beat the 6255.......its gona be inferior to the 6255..so mite as well wait for the 6265 n thats gona be the bets in the market n plus its not a flap phone...i personally dont like the flap phones..... so mannn ru saying that the 6230 is a wayy better bet than the 6130? i really liked the 6130 its a king of its own domain

Then whats the dman pont in buying the dum phone.....i mean they call it the phone with the juke box, n if the sound is not even radio quality then whats the point of that phone...extended memory is fine...but my point is what do u store on the extended memory and why..coz songs are bad quality so no need to store....pics and their quality is bad so why store and how many ringtones will u stroe....or say videos for that matter...so what do u reallly do with the extended memory is what i fail to understand..... its like creating a stadium with huge seating capacity and no spectators to fill it up... i gota lg 6130..very happy with the phone...is underpowered but its a cute lil thing n works well for me...next im onlt gonaa buy the nokis set which is the next model after the 6255...i think its called 6265 or somthing.. rest all is rubbish....... what say u guys

guys, I have been looking for a good reliance phone with mp3 options so that i dont have to carry my i pod or the disc man while travelling . When we put the ear plugs how is the juke box music feature of the lg 6230????Is the sound really like an ipod or a cd player??or jus goes bad ? Another concern is about how many songs can be stored on it(if we only add the memory card advised by lg) Do leme know.. thnxxx

guyss nokia 6235 vs lg 6130....... lg 6130 wins hands down. basics in the nokia 6235 are bad that is the keypad and the 5 way joystick. no matter what the features are ,if the handling isnt good,then the spice of using good featrues finishes..u cant fight with the fone all the time....

yeah mayb nokia does take away more from us only becoz of brand equity.... for instance nokia 6225 isnt half as good as lg rd 6130....and nokia is 2000 more expensive than then lg 6130

yeahh even i felt that the 6255 was way tooo bulkyy..n primarily for me a fone needs to be compaq n then if it has a lot of feature then thats my fone.... no point if the fone weighs 130 gms and then its huge n bulkt n thn it gives u number of features.... that way i feel 6235 is a good bet in the current market scenario
