if rcdma goes down ..it will provide major boost to tata as well as mts....tata still has a clear policy of one network at a place simply put whr it has cdma it dosent has much coverage on gsm and vice versa...so still rcdma rooting up will provide a major boost to both these networks...

merger will make simplication of services and coming in and out of tata cdma and gsm networks...as such in delhi whr docomo dosent hv services there indicom can hold up and whr indicom is not there,, there docomo can hold up but for that the inter communicablity as well as roaming and non-roaming issues between both these networks hv to sorted out which i guess is not tht easy... still hoping for the best...

dont know but my plan got cheaper after giving the port out request to airtel ....still airtel is okay ..seeing the network and other issues ...thy r much better than other providers who r lax in providing basic service of communication which is the least expected.... so for now m sticking with airtel and tata..... regards viper

today just sent out a port request for airtel..in the evening got a call from their end aaking abt my dissatisfaction i told thm idea is offering local+std 12k secs in 199 plan tht too with per sec billing thy told me tht even we r giving 10.5k secs in 149 plan with 1 paise per sec billing...too relieved alteast i can make some use of my postpaid..... :Sorprendido:

nice but thy hvnt mentioned abt the pricing of the set and the data services which e unlimited can be used while tethering to the pc or only on the mobile...still incomplete info...but yes nice initiative by a newbie company as mts.

guys i got myself an pp tata 1x connection which i intended to use with my ec325 tht is unlocked.but whn i started the connection it says error 319 tht is " A coonection to the remote computer cud not be established so the port used is closed" whts is the exact problem and wht is the imminent solution.. P S: i hv also tried changing my ruim of tata from omh to non-omh..still same problem i m facing..gurus plz help me out. regards

m using the same username and pass as given by thm as internet both in username and pass.

still its innovative....i guess tata and relince failed to achieve wht mts did in a short time.....an okay-okay network with a gud mix of high end handsets...plus the afforbality is such u can manage and whts best u r getting the hanset free...so even if tht goes to 1500 bucks per month ..not a big deal... i was wary of htc as htc had not much of its use with me...but with blackberry i wud definately give mts a try...

today got the msg from tata indicom tht too activate national incoming there is a pack to be activated.....anyone else got tht msg or today is 1st april....m confused....whn i called the cc on 121 thy didnt hv any info regarding tht...

hv used relaince and tata atm..found tata more better w.r.t to voice and data...relaince though maybe hving more options in handsets still the basic purpose of a phone tht is communication is just pathetic ... with worst experiences as call not connecting...phone coming busy even thogh the phone is not in use...unnecessary phone calls to recharge the cell ..i found tata more user friendly ...

my mnp with relince was worst...tried transferring the no to airtel ..even thy were hell of idiots....but one thing which is weird is today i received a mail from rel cc concerning my no...and thy said tht as per telephonic conversation the mnp has been done and the customer is satisfied below it was the mail i sent to TRAI ...looks like TRAI is forwarding complaints to the respective oprators..but after so much time it looks useless as the customer's problem got magnified and with time the customer had no choice either to stick to the old operator or chose a different operator ...

:previous: u can...just use the apn which u use for aircel or doomo...taiff depends upon the apn u use..if u r using apn for 3g u will be charged as per the tarif tht is applicable on ur apn...

but this set is sinle- on cdma....so whts the basic use with dual cdma uim coz it will imply carrying two differnt sets at a time...

i had the worst experience with indiatimes ...thy still owe me money and nobody is ready to listen....napptol was no better as whn thy took order thy told me tht thy will send by my choiced courier but ultimately thy sent it by thier choiced courier only which didnt provide any service to my city .....flipkart was fast in sending ...though infibeam took time of abt 8 -10 days but since both flipkart and infibeam were providing COD option i did not worry since no money was paid at the time of ordering ....only once thy deliverd the goods thy took money from me....

:previous: nah ..m not able to achieve evdo on the set even after upgrading the sim but yes 1x is working fine...battery back up is okay as i m only talking 30-60 mins per day so backup is maximised to 1-1.5 days with dual mode on... whn m sending the msg of DB 43 to 121 for activation of data plan its says data plan not available for this set...so i m guessing atm tata ppl still r new on this set....

dont know why but seeing above i guess tata postpaid was much better....no messy smses,,no recharges...ease of roaming,,but yes the cc s**ks even badly althogh i dont hv to pay 50 paise for talking to them still thy dont much abt how to activate evdo on my set...secondly any bill plan change takes in effect from the coming cycle though in airtel i m allowed to change bill plan twice or at max thrice but not more than tht..whn i asked the cc thy did tell me tht thy can do it in special cases but not in all cases... still airtel in gsm and tata in cdma is okay for ME as compared to other networks ...

the problem with docomo is u cannt activate bb services if u r staying in a non-docomo covered area...i m literally cursing myself for getting another state docomo no in delhi...as i needed to activate bb services whn i sent msg for activation of bb services no response came...whn i chatted to the cc on site thy cleary told me tht activation wont be possible as i was roaming in non-docomo area... in tht case i find voda as well as airtel much better since thy allow activation as well as deactivation on bb services from literally anywhr...

got my handset today..paid up the courier guy 7023 bucks .. 1)the packaging was gud so no chance of any pilfrage or any theft from the packet. 2)the box was sealed packed and i hd to cut open the seal to open the box. 3)contents:a)handset b)a different tata photon+ no kit c)usb charger d)micro usb cable though this cable is differnt from standard micro usb as my bb pin was not getting in the slot. e)a standard 3.5 mm earpiece with microphone f)usual booklets like speedliving booklet an offer of 20gbs data dwnld for two months. g)battery 1500mah.though i doubt the battery capacity still the logo says 1500 mah.. 4)i changed my handset to the micromax eg 333 it is showing 1x on top...the screen is resistive but still the touch is responsive. thogh i hv yet to review the battery backup as well as the data usage stats. will review tht in some days. regards Abhishek

i hv ordered from site with COD option.......thy delay too much in sending the phone...3-4 days just to ship the phon and another 3-4 days for delivery via the courier guy...in all 8-10 days....flipkart was faster and cheaper as thy were offering the same set for 6980 bucks... :Equivocado:

reliance s**ks in every way it can....nobody can help much exept those WW guys plus u will hv to be patient..ppl hv waited 2-3 months urs is just 1 month old.so u can deduce the pathetic behavior of rcom towards its customers... better get tata photon plus..atleast tata ppl r somewht fast n better than reliance...

got the mail from infibeam tht thy hv the stock in hand...selling price is 7023 bucks..... gurus whts ur opinion abt the phon...shud i go for this ....
