If u want to use mobile on reliance or tata go for NOKIA 6275. If u want to use any other service provider such as airtel, hutch, bpl, idea etc go for nokia SYMBIAN OS. Java phones have very limited possibilities but very user friendly. whereas symbian OS supports many third party softwares and need to get use to. But once u get use to it, u wont be able to use any other phones in sense of addictions it gives u. also check sony ericsson W series phone if ur a first time mobile phone user.

No place can beat prices we get in india, anyways if u going GSM go for SYMBIAN 60 Device. Its much better than WIN OS, also u get more third party wares to use with it. Symbian is much used and loved mobile OS in the world. Almost all OS based phones by NOKIA on Symbian. U have very big list to choose from. UTstarcomm make only CDMA PDAs, basically all of them made by company called HTC. Look out for HTC PDAs if at all u going for it. HTC touch is the best option if u going to use it with airtel . u knw i m about to buy a new mobile..i dropped da plan of buyin MotoRokr Z3,K550i,Nk 6300..jus becuz of their OS..al thes phones r java based except da Motorokr wich runs on linux..i was wonderin why not buy a s60 supportd handset.. accha can u tel me at wat lowest price u can get a s60 supported handset n wich one?? Regards.. There are load of choices in NOKIA for S60, i personally like 6630 its most powerfull handset by nokia IMHO, but i doubt u get new now. Try to find it u will get second in 4k something. if ur budget is more go for N73 or N95.

hi friend handset transfer card and RUIM is different. i suppose u have to get a RUIM and put it in the sim slot.. it may work.. costing RS.300 RUIM is a sim card which can be used on cdma phone with sim slots.. if its spice D-88 it ll work.. All the best Dear captain, my phone D88 has slot i have purchased RUIM blank card worthRs. 300 and hand set transfer card. I dialled *229 + 9digit PIN no. from old HS and *228+9 digit PIN from new HS. but still new phone not activated. The phone says ur phone cannot be activated. contact customer care. Of course CC *333 and 33333333 cant be cotacted. it is engaged due to millions complaints being recieved ot put off Well activating OTA ( Over The Air ) i.e activating by dialing *228 required SPC ( Service Programming Code ) to be match with the *228 activation portal. Means when u buy any RUIN or non-RUIM handsets form reliance, they are reliance ready i.e already programmed with reliance valid SPC. Now in case of open market handsets like D88 or X768 or Xv6700 all are RUIM compatible but not loaded with valid SPC, so u wont get OTA activation. Well u have to get any reliance ready RUIM based handset and insert ur blank RUIM in it, activate it, remove ur RUIM and insert to use it in ur open market handset. Cheers.

Well u can take backups of all ur data, but u cant take backup of group created in SKB. I also suggest u to install kervins plain ROM as u majorly use it for SMS, u will get faster SMS sending and more out of ur battery. U will need SKB group sms software to install, as its rom doesn't have any software installed.
