Motorola has introduced its MOTORAZRmaxx V6 Ferrari Challenge Mobile Phone Limited Edition. The long name is hiding the phone MOTO RAZR maxx V6 made in the Ferrari style. The model has a Ferrari logo on the front panel, opening and closing of the clamshell are accompanied with the roar of 8-cylinder engine of Ferrari F1 and the picture of Ferrari F430 engine on the external screen. The internal screen can boast of the respective emblem for a screensaver and 30 Ferrari related photos. Customarily for such phones, its hardware part wasn’t changed. The sales of MOTORAZRmaxx V6 Ferrari Challenge Mobile Phone Limited Edition start today. The recommended price makes up €490, i.e. about $635.

LG Electronics has introduced its VX9400 mobile phone for the American operator Verizon Wireless. Like Samsung SCH-u620 also exhibited at CES 2007 the phone supports the new service V CAST Mobile TV. When the display is revolved to the landscape position, it reveals the digital keyboard. Other specs are as follows – a 2.2” QVGA (240x320 pixels) display, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, an expansion slot for microSD cards and Bluetooth supporting stereo sound. The release is set for 1Q 2007 by the launch of the service. Kingmax has announced a storage card microSDHC capacious of 4 GB. This is a record for this standard, says the company. Until now microSDHC cards carried 2 GB maximum. The cards comply with SD 2.0 specifications. They feature 127X or 19.1 Mbps (write) and 150X or 22.5 Mbps (read) speeds. No doubt, the cards will be in demand for multimedia mobile phones and other portable electronics, should the price be adequate. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t provided the info on the release date.

Samsung Electronics has officially announced its new audio player K3. We mentioned the device late in November, however there was little info about it. Taking into account design, Samsung K3 looks like Samsung K5, but without the part with stereo speakers. Samsung positions the new product as its slimmest MP3-player at the moment – 6.8 mm. The player is equipped with a 1.8” OLED display. In addition to music functionality the device can display JPEG pictures and run slideshows. As for the music, the payer supports MP3, WMA, DRM10 formats. There is an FM-tuner. On a single charge the player lasts for 25 hours in music mode. It is available with 2, 4 and 8 GB flash ROM onboard. The release is set for March.

Another new product for KDDI subscribers is Sanyo W51SA slider with a good display and 1GB of memory onboard. The TFT display features a 2.6” diagonal, a QVGA resolution and 262K colors. The slider has technological design and multi-color solution. In addition to large memory size there is a slot for microSD cards (up to 2GB). Sanyo W51SA is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, an FM-tuner. Measuring 51x105x21 mm it weighs 146 g. On a single charge the phone is good for 280 minutes in talk mode and 290 hours standby. It’s possible to switch the screen in the landscape mode to receive TV programs, there is a sliding antenna for steady signal reception. Battery life in TV mode is about 5 hours, which is a good performance.

If i consider that royalty issue is hyped by reliance, still questions remain why they charging only 2% royalty in china, and nil in USA. although reliance is the largest CDMA service provider in the world. i think all issue some how related to nokia, i dont accept that nokia cant win cdma handset market as they have spent hugely in R&D of CDMA. the biggest GSM market for nokias is india and china. and both providing CDMA also. so why cant they make good high-end/value for money handsets in cdma??

Activate camera and options>Settings>Image/Video Storage>Other folder. Just set which folder u want ur stuffs to be stored. its simple.

I think u playing around with handset while its on charging, New batteries takes lil extra time thn usually it takes to complete charge.

6230 have a 65K display which is quite outdated. Nokia 2865 (Rs.6400/-) has 262K display.You mean this new LG will have same old 65K display ? 2865 display is pstn not TFT, Its really s**ks, i hate 2865 for its display.

Well as far i know, display play major role in pricing, just see there's only difference between nokia 6265 and 6275 is display size, and 6275 is 5k cheaper. So here they giving small display but feature pack. What u guys take on it.

I will personally suggest go for LG black and white 2690/2650. 1255 s**ks big time. U'll hate it for messaging.

One Mr.X called me up from newyork airport asking if we can use this handset on reliance. I said yes. Now one of our forum member helping him to use it here on reliance. We are one step ahead.

Display is same as 6230. They want to launch it in feb. 6500 is DP, EU might get it around 7k. Not sure about pricing, "NOT FOR SALE" is mentioned on box.

Nokia wil sure make it one day. Am dead sure. And that will be the turning point for cdma market. Just a matter of time.

U have to format it by putting it in handset, then paste songs in particular folder called media/songs which is created by handset. This should solve ur prob.

But i read it somewhere that for unlimited user it will remain 256 U guys know i hit deal with my cablewala, he is giving me 256 10GB every month for year in 4K.

IMO There's a major diffrence in display size of 6265 and 6275. 6265 is bigger, resolution is same though. But 6275 display more crisp clear then 6265.
