Hi All, Can you imagine this happening in INDIA? Government of India has an online Grievance forum at http://darpg-grievance.nic.in/ The government wants people to use this tool to highlight the problems they faced while dealing with Government officials or departments like Passport Office, Electricity board, BSNL/MTNL, Railways etc etc. I know many people will say that these things don't work in India, but this actually works as one of my friend found. The guy I'm talking about lives in Faridabad. Couple of months back, the Faridabad Municipal corporation laid new roads in his area and the residents were very happy about it. But 2 weeks later, BSNL dugged up the newly laid roads to install new cables which annoyed all the residents including this guy. But it was only this guy who used the above listed grievance forum to highlight his concern. And to his surprise, BSNL and Municipal corporation of faridabad was served a show cause notice and the guy received a copy of the notice in one week. Government has asked the MC and BSNL about the goof up as its clear that both the government departments were not in sync at all. So use this grievance forum and educate others who don't know about this facility. This way we can at least raise our concerns instead of just talking about the 'System' in India. Good beginning.

All Airtel broadband plans are not shared, only the Home 699 (128 Kbps unlimited) and Home 999 (256 Kbps unlimited) plans are. Rest all the plans are dedicated to my knowledge. Anyway, Airtel is the only good alternative for those who want unlimited data transfer at a resonably good speeds and at a reasonably affordable prices. I also had posted good reviews for Airtel BB before, but for the last 9-10 months (or you can say with the increased customer base - as per their calim they now have more than 2 lacs Airtel BB subscriver in NCR), speeds have gone down drastically....and not only the speeds, the downtime has increased substantially. It might be the best choice in Chennai or other Metros, but not in Delhi...though I would still rate it as a better choice.

Airtel used to be good, but not anymore. Their speeds have gone down drastically in the last ten months or so....As for the Airtel's 256 Kbps unlimited connection for 999+taxes, mind it, it is a shared connection and u never ever get 256K! I would say you're lucky if you are getting even 128K at all the times on this connection. I have this plan, and I rarely get download sppeds more than 14KB/s. My sierra wireless card gives better download speeds than this plan. Nothing so great for Airtel, antmore.

Reliance Communications Ventures Ltd. Announces Proforma Consolidated Q3 Financials DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City), Navi Mumbai, February 21, 2006 Reliance Communications Ventures Ltd. (RCVL), one of the four Reliance - Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group companies formed on the reorganization of the Reliance group, today announced unaudited proforma consolidated results for the latest quarter ended December 31, 2005. The highlights of financial performance are: * Total revenues of Rs 3,327 crore (US$ 749 million) * EBITDA of Rs 848 crore (US$ 190 million) * Cash profit of Rs 720 crore (US$ 162 million) * Net profit of Rs 310 crore (US$ 70 million) The net profit of Rs. 310 crore (US$ 70 million) for Q3 ended December 31, 2005, compares with a net loss of Rs. 250 crore (US$ 56 million) for Q1 ended June 30, 2005, being the period prior to the announcement of restructuring and demerger of the Reliance group. These proforma numbers are based on financial performance of all companies in the RCVL group, including inter alia Reliance Infocomm Ltd., Reliance Communications Infrastructure Ltd., FLAG Telecom, and Reliance Telecom (prior to adjustment for minority interests). RCVL is not yet a listed company, and to that extent, disclosure of quarterly financial results is statutorily not required to be made. This disclosure is voluntarily being made to uphold the highest standards of transparency and corporate governance, for the benefit of over 20 lakh Reliance investors, who have become RCVL shareholders, as a result of the scheme of arrangement of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay in December 2005. As already announced, RCVL is expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE in the week beginning March 6, 2006, subject to regulatory and other approvals. Proforma Consolidated Results of RCVL:

@theking.....You are doing the same, critisizing the system...if you really feel so desperate, you yourself should get into the politics and clean it up..set an example by saying a big NO to all these privileges and perks...its very easy to critisize. If you really want to make a difference, you yourself need to take the first step and that's what the letter above and the movie RDB conveys.

This guy seems to be in cloning as well. Did you notice, he has a page asking for the phone serial numbers like ESN, IMEI etc...he says, input the information for warranty verification....He seems not only a fraud but a criminal as well.

In a great move, Google announced integration of their IM solution 'Google Talk' with the much talked about 'Gmail', the free yet most comprehensive email service. Google is coming up with new products and new concepts every now and then, and I really appreciate Google for being so innovative. GoogleTalk got integrated to my Gmail account today and I must the integration is flawless....awesome in other words...To me this is great, as my Gmail inbox is always open while I am online, and now I have access to Google Talk at the same time. Cheers!

I know guys....most of this would be due to the upgradation or some maintenance at the network side...But atleast the customers should be informed by SMS or something about the possible black out times...this would save a lot of us from wasting time and energy on repeated calls...Or atleast the CC should be informed, so that in case we happen to reach them, they should be able to tell us such n such is going on with the network...instead of just saying that take the handset to the service center. when will the service providers understand the concept of 'service'. God knows...

Hi all, I faced this issue for the third time yesterday night. It suddenly happens and for several minutes to an hour, Network goes down, infact I would almost dies. It happened about 15 day back for the first time at about mid-night. Iwas talking to my GF and my call suddenly got disconnected. After that, I tried for the next half an hour or so but I was not able to make calls to any RIM in a circle (Rajasthan circle). I called up using three RIM connection and one Airtel number, but the call didn't get through; neither did I receive calls from any RIM from the circle....Total balck out, no calls, no SMS...I called up CC and they said the same bulls$$rt that the network is ok, problem is with my handsets.... The same happened the next night as well, and now the yesterday night. I am sure that something ****y happened with the network....these RIM guys must be doing something with the network but they must inform the customers and accept if their network is going thru something bad. Did any of you guys had similar experience? @Mods/admin -- I searched for the similar item but did not find one..please excuse if a similar thread is already going on...

Your post is a little confusing...Are you talking about downloading pictures on to PC from 6130??...or do you want to upload pictures from PC to phone???? I guess you want to download them on the PC....Then you would need the LG PC Sync-Link program. As you said you have already downloaded the software from the site...what you need to do now it to connect your phone and run the PC Link for transferring pictures from phone to PC...PC sync is only for synchronization of phone book and other such stuff...PC Link at times have problems detecting phone, you might have to switch to another port to make it work. There is a long thread on this already...Check out d forum. Cheers!
