ideally, the minimum virtual memory size should be set to the double of your actual memory. and maximum 4 to 8 times of the actual memory. maximum memory should be as per your requirement & usage. as per your machine and OS i suggest you to keep minimum size 512mb and maximum 1024mb. moreso, its advised to keep the pagefile on the different partition than the OS. i.e. if windowsxp is in C Drive, keep the page file on D drive for better performance. i think you must have atleast 256md ram in order to run winxpsp2 on any pc. i cant imagine how you would be using winxpsp2 on 128mb ram and that too on a p3-800. its rightly said in a previous message, upgrade your system. anyways, good luck.

there are good 3.5" usb 2.0 external casings available. one of them is Manhattan, it costs Rs 2000/- i know that the cost is too high comparing to ordinary casings, but this one is a top quality product and its much much better than any other chienese casings available in around Rs 1000 in mumbai market. i've sold the same at Rs 3000 in some corporate offices, and the results are very satisfactory. pm me if you want one, i can arrange one for you.

thanks abhay for the detailed reply. basically i am too a technically sound user, and hence ive gone through all the options as you mensioned. amongst all, i found dialpad to be the cheapest and ive gone for a 15$ premium europian disounted account. and it worked perfectly fine, voice clarity was crystal clear, on my current 256kbps cable internet line. i know that uk cell calling is v.v.v. costly, but the situation is such that i dont have a uk landline to call on, only cell i'll try anyuser as soon as my current dialpad account runs out. i'll be getting around 30% discount on anyuser's mrp amout, hence the call to uk cell will effectively cost me around 6.65. but still dialpad would be cheaper as of now.

Hi Guys recently. one of my closest relative has shifted to uk. currently they have only cell phone. if i use rim or any other service, it costs me Rs 12 to 14 + Service Tax. Calling on landlines is cheaper, but calling on cells costs a bomb. i've currently subscribed in www.dialpad.com. i get 15$ talk time where UK Mobiles costs me 14.4 cents + 4$ monthly subscription fee. i need you guys to share any cheaper services which you use to call UK Mobiles. i am not aware where is chor bazar, but many of my (well to do) friends go and buy stuff from there. ive never taken any interest in such things. buy only genuine stuff, if u have your own money and if u can afford. thats my rule.

stolen stuff is always cheap. in chorbazar u get such deals daily, not a big deal.

please post the full email header if you can. that will help us analize from where the mail has come. ie. the ip address of the sender's pc and the pc name. probably that could help us knowing the authenticity of the email and the sender.

there will never ever be a complete phone. all phones have their own pros and cons. you have to live with it. if u want to wait for a complete phone, the time is never gonna come. just check the forum,almost every phone has some or the other problem. none of them is complete. if the port is usb 2.0 it operates on full speed by default. it runs on low speed if the device is usb 1.1. there are no settings as such in a pci card for the speed settings as you want to do.
