this phone is targeted to the lower middle class, and lower class, which is the majority in india. the growth lies in these class today. for them, a mobile phone itself is a luxury. now expect more and more dudhwalas, bhajiwalas, mochis etc. taking orders on phone !!!

as far as i think, the only bottleneck in rim's growth is handset options. if they provide a lot of fancy handset at gsm handsets prices, they would definately grow faster and bigger.

psarkar, can you please explain in what way battery is bad? also please let us know wether you have upgraded your handset or you have bought a new prepaid or postpaid connection ? try to share your valuable experiences of the newest handset with all so that it can help others decide.

btw, lgrd2030 has pc sync. it has to be downloaded from the net. it synchronizes phone book and schedules etc etc.

yeah...this handset rules. its the next best thing. gtran buyers will be regreting after they see this handset and its features... now its pretty sure that this is my next handset upgrade after good ol' lgrd2030. cheeers..

as per my experience, if you charge the battery after it totally discharges, it lasts long. but if you charge it from the half way, it comparatively gives you less time. try it and post your experience.

you can enable itemised billing by sending 'ITEM YES' sms to 3733. then keep an eye on your connections, and check the same in the bill as soon as it comes on RBill website. this way you can monitor your usage more accurately and clear your overbilling doubts. hope it helps.

its better to use paid pop3 access as indian companies like rediff now offering such services as low as 249 a year with some decent mail storage. so why use bad and slower free service when good professional services are available for as low as 249.
