as per my experience in 2.1 , my hero has become more kick *** than ever. i think there are many many enhancements and tweaks. there are many small softwares and utilities integrated in rom 2.1, which were third party apps in 1.5. i am a prepaid user and my upgrade to 2.1 was flawless and 10 mins job (with guidance of dkaile). i think, everyone should upgrade to 2.1 rom. it rocks guys !!

easiest way to use rconnect through cell phone on vista, is to connect it with bluetooth. i tried my 6275 on new sony vaio with vista home basic a few days back. it flawlessly connects to the bluetooth on laptop. its amazingly simple. once you load the drivers, and connect phone to laptop using bluetooth, vista creates a com port and then use that port to connect to the internet. use #777 and your phone no as username/password. you dont need any kind of softwares or drivers, whatsoever !! your'r through !!!

yes. its truly said that altec lansing atp3 kicks *** of any damn 10k 5.1 speakers. i strongly suggest you to buy 5.1 speakers only if you are going to put all of them in 4 corners of the room with proper wiring and you are going to buy original dvd where you can actually get the advantage of 5.1 speakers. or else buy any good 2.1 speakers like altec lansing atp3 @ 3300 with 60W RMS total peak power, that would be much better. altec lansing also has 5.1 speaker system which is available locally, is VS3151R, coasting around 8000, which has 50W RMS total peak power. for more technical info on speakers please visit www.alteclansing.com. you can even come to my showroom where i have both of these speakers on demo. hope this helps.
