  3. Hi Basant, this might save you some time regarding the A2DP. http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-670...et-finally.html On page 9 of this topic the latest version of the caller id hack is given which is also supposed to hack the music thru bluetooth. Do take a look and i think it will do the trick. And i also have been able to sync with my laptop using bluetooth and not the cradle, made my life a lot easier. If anyone wants the doc which helped me is attached here for the instructions. This doc is for toshiba laptop and pda with windows mobile 5. I have sony but since the bluetooth stack in my laptop was by toshiba, i think it worked. The attachment didn't come i don't know why. However, here is the page from where you can get it. http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/howto.html
  4. http://ppcwarez.org - another great site for 6700ites. Enjoy... You will get MSVC on this site
  5. Tarak, Basant, Sorry for the delay in replying. Unfortunately i dont remember where i downloaded MS voice command from, but you can download it from the forum http://www.pxdxa.com You will have to register there and then you can surf and download the softwares. This site is partly in chinese but guess it will have to do. Guys, it is a treasure trove of softwares and games for PPC 6700 and i am pretty sure all you 6700ites will find it very useful. After registering you go to the Pocket PC section and you will love it. But pls share your experiences with us all regarding whatever you download and use. And Tarak, can we use Voice2Go with a bluetooth headset cos it seems that the built in voice dial application does not support BT headsets. Basant, how did you connect it with the home wifi network. Are you able to browse the shared files and browse internet using the wifi connection.
  6. Guys i need help. I still am not able to connect to the internet from my laptop using the pda as a wireless modem. The partnership between the pda and laptop is made successfully but after that it does not install the modem for the pda and i have to install the modem seperately. After i do it, according to the manual, it should get connected, but it doesnt happen. Also no synch thru BT it seems. Has anyone done it.
  7. Hi guys, i installed MS Voice 1.6 and it works pretty good. The voice recognition is good, even though the accent is american the level of accuracy without any training for a voice recognition is amazing. And tarak, i have still not connected to the internet thru this phone, so cant say as of now.
  8. Hi everybody, I got my phone yesterday and it is good. Anyone who wants can contact Mr. Anuj verma who sits on the 11th floor of vijaya building in CP, new delhi. However, i am not being able to use the pda as a modem and get connected to the internet and is there any way to synchronize the pda with the laptop using bluetooth. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
  9. Sameer, has anyone actually bought the set from vijaya building ? And can we transfer our existing no. to the new pda phone ? As for Tarak, you may get some good info from this site - http://ppc6700users.com. It is for sprint users actually, but a lot of info useful. Hope it helps. Also, have you bought the handset from delhi ?
  10. Hi everybody, I tried to get the pda today. I got the call from the corporate centre today and they said that i can either collect the phone or they will send it to me. However, the hitch was that the phone comes with a new connection and i will not be able to transfer my old no. to this handset. I was also told that this phone is available in WW all over delhi, but this is also not true. Now the corporate centre guy has told me that he will check whether the no. can be transferred from the old handset to the pda or not and tell me in a couple of days. Again back to waiting. Lets hope the wait ends soon. Anybody else in NCR trying to get it, please share.
  11. Mr. mmjain, have you used any voice dial/command features. And any other info you want to share with us. Also can we sync the phone with the laptop using wifi?
  12. Has anyone actually used this handset? If so, please share your experience.

  18. All About Nokia 6255

Hi guys I have bought the Nokia 6255 and i must say that it is a relief after the no frills reliance handsets. It is a cool phone with all the right features making it at par with the high end GSM handsets(The camera may have been of a higher resolution though). One thing i have not been able to figure out is hoe to use the internet thru bluetooth. If anybody has any ideas please post them here. Thanks
