DevAlap v6 with the addon pack is really nice. I really enjoyed using google navigation. I have a problem with trackball light also for missed calls LED won't blink.The racing game didn't worked.its showing force close. How to enable app2sd with this rom,my phone memory has gone to 50 MB with just 10 apps installed from market.

I followed your method.First ALAP v6,then Updated radio,then ##3282# - Edit - Enter SPC - Data Profile - Press Menu - Restore. Now my data is working without any problem. Now i may try updating to DC 2.05. Thanks for your reply.

I am on DC 2.05 but my PRI is 1.70_003.How to change PRI to 2.11_002 ?I didn't upgraded the radio,i am on 1.04. will a radio upgrade will change PRI to 2.11?WHat did you do to get data workingPlease help

When i tried CLEAN Wipe of Data & Dalvik Cache from the recovery menu,wipe of data is done but Dalvik Cache result in an error.It showing "Run 'wipe dalvik' via ADB. .how to do that? So I did the upgrade too DC 2.05 without wiping the Dalvik Cache,did it result in the data error?

I am now on stock 1.5 with radio ver 1.04 and like to update to DamageControl v2.05.I have rooted with Recovery 1.5.2.I have taken Nandroid backup of the existing system.Downloaded and copied the file DamageControlv2.05.zip to root of sd card. Is it needed to update to Recovery 1.6.2 to load DamageControl v2.05?If yes,how to update from 1.5.2 to 1.6.2? I got my bill after activating "windows mobile 500" plan.The Rs.46.90 in the Network Usage section came because i didn't changed my Username to MDN for the first two three days.Just for your reference i have given below the main sections of the bill:

I have contacts with anniversary fields.it won't show up in the Google calender itself. so not on android too.Birthday fields will show up in Google calender,also on android calender.Both birthdays and anniversary won't show up on android contacts/people.

Actually i have synced Birthdays with my Android calender before itself by the same way you have told,problem is with anniversary field.Also birthday and anniversay field not shown in android contacts.I think we need to wait for the rom update.

I have removed all stock applications from sprint.I didn't get any increase in internal memory. When i tried to copy all apps to c:\hero i got a permission denied error.so i removed without copying files.also removed OMADM.apk OMADM.odex files for OTA activation. Now there is no need to cancel activation window when rebooting . When we will get the 2.1 rom update? any solution to sync the anniversary field in gmail contacts to android calender? I have noted Birthdays and anniversary fields in google contacts are not in android contacts after sync.

Try searching "CAR MODE" in market you will find it. Glad to hear Hetal is Back into rom building Bluetooth transfer also we need to solve. NDRIVE is working well with india map. SMS POPUP is also good for direct display of incoming sms on screen almost like palm.

I have rooted sucessfully.But when i tried sending a file using bluex still the same error is coming. I tried enabling server,it just enable but can't find hero from any other blue tooth device. Did it working for you? My firmware is 1.5.

Bluetooth didn't worked. while tried to send a file via bluex "Error in local device(power disabled)" When i tried starting server got a message that it will work only in rooted device.

I have few problems with Hero: 1.If we had a missed call,sms,schedule the green LED starts blinking but after five mins it stops blinking,any method we can make it as palm.(it will blink until we clear it) 2.Any solution for bluetooth file transfer?I tried Bluetooth File manager from market,but i am getting a message that hero doesnot support it. 3.Can we make sms display in screen itself like treo even in sleep mode.I installed smspop for it but its not coming up when in sleep mode. 4.I tried switch on data full time but when some one calls me they are getting engaged tone.Only when the phone is in dormant mode only i am able to get a voice call.when i am downloading an app or using google maps for navigation etc engaged tone is coming.is there a setting to change it? 5.Can you suggest some good softwares for call recording,phone backup,calender,video playback including flv and avi(better than built in player),music player etc. 6.Suggest a good rss reader which can use offline. I got activated my new data plan "windows mobile 500" last day of the last bill cycle. I got SMS after 3 days -: "Dear customer with ref to your SR-11xxxxxxxx Your new plan is RNC_199_500MB_2 wef 06-01-2010." In dec bill they have taken 6 rs for this plan.In the bill its showing RNC_199_500MB_2. I started using hero from 8th jan only,that too very limited data usage(downloaded some apps too),still i am getting and increase of 20 to 30 rs in daily unbilled usage.so yesterday with mufaddal_km help i have changed username and pass to my MDN.Before it was set to UTS@relianceinfo.com.When i checked today unbill usage increased just 2 rs(voice calls).checked data usage from 7th jan to today at myservices.relianceada.com,it was showing around 5MB. i am waiting for my first bill to confirm there is no Network usage charge.
