hi,can u help me.i have a nokia 6255 and would like to know if is it possible to access r surf. there is a wap browser in nokia 6255, but whenever i try to access wap sites, its says not opening.at a same time it is asking for the three server (ip) address. by default one server (ip) address is already saved, the rest two, not aware....can u help me to access r surf pleaseeeeeeeee.......

hi,this is iqbal from mumbai. hey, i too have activated mobile office on my airtel prepaid card and paying Rs 12/- per day...that comes to Rs 360/- permonth including incoming and outgoing calls. i refill a voucher of Rs 600/- everything where in i get a talktime of Rs 444/- and i surf 24 hours on my pc through my gsm phone unlimited and download also absolutely unlimited. so i believe airtel is 100 times better than r-connect. what have you to say on this...... thanks n regards.

And yes I did check it is there. A delay of about 15 seconds is there. So this is actually good news. The quality however was not the most brilliant. Lets see what all more comes up on 6255 on R world. There are some features that are there on R world but were not included by one of the posters on 6255 launched thread. Dear Sagar, I am wondering have you actually bought 6255 or is it some other model. What are you actually looking for in 6255. I would like you to know .jar files do work in 6255 cause I upload them and play games and use the applications too. For this you need a right kind of software which is... (MobiMB Mobile Media Browser) You can download demo copy from www.logomanager.co.uk. It is a simple software to use all you have to do is copy and paste in the application or game folder. I have bought my 6255 with 5 games and 2 applications today I have more than 50 games and applications. I delete and install games almost everyday. my dear friend...why you people want everything faukat ka. as you asked whether i am able to send sms thru pc suite, why are you taking so much trouble by switching on the comp and sending sms thru pc suite when you have a handset in your hand and click of a second you can send sms. regarding the features , as i have mentioned earlier it has all features which avaliable in gsm phones, eg: nokia 6600, 6670 etc. what else you want, you can also record video in 3gp format and also transfer your favourite videos thru card reader or bluetooth......i dont understand how people expect more and more......be happy what you get.....did u get me.....thanks n regards.....u1s2a3

my dear friend Sagar....you have told a lot negative about nokia 6255. i believe you must be using the mobile for the first time...secondly where did you buy this set from......you must have definately got a defective piece.....i am using this phone for the last 40 days and trust me i am very much satisfied with the same...excellent screen, mp3 is gr8, radio, too good....bluetooth-outstanding...it supports more than 1 gb memory card....nice clarity....excellent transfer of images , ringtones etc, through bluetooth....excellent battery life also.....i would suggest you to please check the handset twice before buying the same....dont listen to this stupid guy....nokia 6255 is one of the best phone in the market....better than all gsm phones...hey, the camera....0.3 megapixels....good camera......any queries mail me on u1s2a3@gmail.com thanks n regards....u1s2a3

Hope you are not prepending the user name/passwd with a zero cause neither myself or any friend i know who uses rconnect has ever faced a similar problem like this. Secondly guys am really pissed at reliance everything is working fine except for the frequent disconnection. Early morning hours i can connect for 10-15 minutes but late at nights its difficult to keep the connection alive for more then 5 minutes. I tried the ping app with the gateway IP, and also with ;+cta=240 init string but GOD DAMN THE CONNECTION DOESNT WORKS WELL. Hi buddy, Even i was facing this problem but after entering this in the init string of the modem i was able to connect. +crm=1;+cso=33 we have to thank for this to liquidnitrogen as he is the one who has suggested this.
