Dear All, I am new to Nokia 6265 as I bought it recently. I didn't find any post related to Rconnect so I am posting my query here. I install Nokia PC suit. When I connect phone using data cable, I can see my phone connected in software. When I am trying to connect to Internet from pc suit, it tells me that modem is not found. Actually modem is installed and I can see that from Cpanel. Now how to configure modem in pc suit ? Is netconnect dialer available for this handset ? Please guide me how to connect internet using data cable. I am not interested in WAP so please help me with connection using data cable. My data cable is CA-53. Awaiting prompt response from all experts of 6265. Good Day !

Shrini, You have faced standard problem. Every GTRAN 4020 phone fails. Even I faced the same problem and my cousin also faced the same problem. However I got new display unit from Ucom with battery and my cousin got new GTRAN phone from Reliance. For that, we had to fight with Reliance. We purchased GTRAN from RWW and the phone was under warrantee. Later when we started facing problems, Reliance told us to contact service centre and Ucom told us that reliance was importer of phone and supposed to provide parts to Ucom. I learned that Ucom was genuine. GTRAN company is taken over by someone and new company has stopped making cell phones. Hence new phones or parts are not expected in near future. Hence you may go to the dealer who sold this phone to you. If he sold this phone to you with warantee, you must catch him and tell what Ucom told you. Be prepared to file case against him. If he has sold phone without warantee, dont waste your time and money in fighting. Buy any cheap phone and close the chapter. GTRAN was finally sold for Rs.2200 on ebay with 2 battery. Everyone knows problems of GTRAN and thats the reason why it was available so cheap. So finally I suggest that buying a new handset would be great and you are under wrong impression that you have bought handset with warantee as Reliance has cleared their stock by dumping the phone in market at bottom rates and without warantee.

First of all my apologies to you as it clears seems that you are hurt with my views. As mentioned , I have just expressed my views and you have made me a target :-) Was kidding, dont worry. What I understand is that the Narmada project will make lacs of people happy at the cost of few thousands and these few thousands shall be compansated for their contribution. When Supreme Court is working on this issue and matter is very hot, Aamir's sudden stand makes people of Gujarat unhappy. Aamir's sitting with Medha makes them angry because they need water and Aamir is supporting a person who is one of the cause for delay.... You must be very lucky to get 24 hours water in your house. However go to ahmedabad and check the quality of water. I bet you won't drink that salty water. Go on other part of Gujarat and see yourself if water is available. You wont find even salty water there. Many farmers have land but no water. In some part of Gujarat, people buy water from tankers and that their routine. Such infrmation will not be available on Aamir Khan website. For that you should trust me. So people of Gujarat would have loved Aamir to take same stand from their side...... Aamir could have sit with Gujarat Govt and request affected parties to cooperate so lacs of people can get water. He could have assured affected people that he is with them too. I have seen his first interview and I am very clear that he is not against dam. I have seen his other TV Interviews too. He indirectly criticised Gujarat Govt for variopus issues too. Is he not targetting Gujarat Govt because Fanna is not released in Gujarat ? To understand Aamir's act, I dont need transcript. He has many friends but only Rang De Basanti freinds joined him at India gate..... Isn't it filmi ? Is this what you call spontaneous decision ? So Mobile Fan, You read transcripts and I read acts. Therefore once again I wish to clarify that I have no animity with Aamir. I am also a fan of Aamir but it doesn't mean that I have to appreciate whatever Aamit does. This act was immature and mass people are hurted. Please do not forget that it was aamir's spontaneous decision to join Medha group and at that time he was neither aware of the narmada issue nor had the knowledge of the legal complecations of narmada. He spontaneously issued statements and that became his stand. Therefore I have stated earlier that this act is childish. He was invited by nobody and nobody asked him his views on narmada. So he cannot repeatedly say that he stated same what Supreme Court thinks. In that case he need not have stated anything as Supreme Court already had stated so. Now the issue is movie and not narmada dam. If he says sorry, he can make everyone happy. Since he is loyal to his ego, he is in no mood to say sorry. And people have made this as an issue. Whether he will say sorry or not is the present issue. Indians are not targetting Aamir because he is Muslim by birth. He is not a target because he is celebrity. Since his act has hurted a mass public, it is a feeling of Indians that Aamir should say sorry. I dont say that he should say sorry because of his stand.... he should say sorry because we love him and his such act in the name of freedom of speech, religion, target, nation, freedom and etc hurts a lot. This is not expected from Aamir. if you do one thing right, you may not have to do ten wrong things. Dear Friends, I wish to express my views on the issue. I am neither in favour of Aamir nor in favour of BJP/N.Modi for this issue. I like Aamir as an actor. However I feel that his speech and his stand is a political... He should have not given any comments on Narmada especially at Indiagate in front of Media. Supreme Court was about to give its decision on Narmada Dam. Neither medha Patkar Nor BJP or nobody had requested Aamir to come to India Gate to express his personal views. From his act, I feel that he was interested in publicity for faana or was really childish to act so like guys shown in rang De Basanti. I agree with him that he has right to express his views and its his fundamental rights. However the platform choosen by him was not correct. He could have express his views to his wife no.1 or wife no.2 or to his frends or Director of rang de basanti..... Even we have our own views for narmada but we dont go to India Gate to express it in front of Media. He definitely went to India gate to get a cheaper publicity as he is an actor and media would love to cover him. This part hurts everyone. His stand was only for a day and he may not be anymore with Medha patkar and team. He may not join future protests and activities of medha Patkar. Is this a stand ? Where was Aamir when Doctors were protesting reservations ???? Whats his stand on this issue ? 2 days back, on STAR PLUS he said in an interview that we all Indians must understand that political parties are in existance who wish to divide the nation in name of religion and jaati-vaad and etc. As per this philosophy, Congress and Left parties are dividing nation in the name of Jaati-Vaad and reservation issue. however Aamir doesn't want to give comments on reservation. Aamir has no comments for terrorist attack on Akshardham in Gujarat but he pointed out some incidents where Muslims were sufferors in Gujarat riots. In short, Aamir has no stand. He doesn't wish to accept that he was wrong and his views have hurt people of India. He could have avoid all problems by saying sorry to people who love them. But he prefered not to say sorry to people of India in the name of freedom of speech. Even Narendra Modi / Govt of India / Gujarat Govt. is in favour of rehabilitation of land owners who would loose their land due to naramda dam. No Indians or Govt have ever stated that dam should be constructed at the cost of any loss to farmers. So in short, Aamir's view are much similar to Narendra Modi. However Narendra Modi doesn't bark like Aamir. I really feel very bad because Faana is not released in Gujarat. Movie should have been allowed to release in Gujarat. however people of india should have made protest to the movie and prefered not to watch it. I would request all Indians not to see this movie because Aamir has made this stunt just for Faana. We must not trouble movie makers or coca cola or toyota because Aamir is associated with him. We must not disturb them too. However it is in our hand to use their product or not. We must not watch movies of Aamir or use products for which he is campaigning. We must tell Aamir Khan that we love actor Aamir Khan and not politician Aamir Khan. And for arrogant Aamir khan, we have no place in our heart. If Aamir is in favour of Narmada Dam, he must issue statement that he is in favour of Narmada dam and had no intention to hurt people of India. He must withdraw his one day stand to Medha and must say sorry to people of India. And my friends, it was the message from rang De Basanti " ya to chup baitho ya kuch karo" So someone declared ban on this movie because of Aamir's chilish move...... now why Aamir is crying ? Why he is making stories everyday in paper and tv ? Say sorry and close the chapter...... Or enjoy the fruit of your deeds. It is unfortunate that we are not united.... Aamir has given this message to all Indians that we must believe in Unity and stay away from people who wants to divide. We must accept this view and we must together protest this movie in entire India. Dont stop release of Aamir's movies or dont burn his posters..... simply stay away from his movies and product he promots. Kalyan Prince and theKing, Thanks for your comments. I agree with your views as well. It is not correct to compare DJ & Party with OSAMA. I just wanted to tell that everyone has some reasons and missions behind doing something. They might be right or wrong. However if you accept DJ's actions/idea/thinking in the movie, you should not oppose thinking of OSAMA or SADDAM. It doesn't matter if it is a fight of religion or country. What matters is an idea and action. If you accept violence as a means to solve the problem, accept all terrerists in the world because they too have a reason. Someone is fighting for country, someone is fighting for religion, someone is fighting for rights and etc. Recently you might be reading news on Jessica lal case in papers. What do you think is a main matter ? I feel that it is a political issue because a rich man from political family is involved. And we always need justice when some big shot is involved in a case. Now thing differently. What kind of models serve liquors at 1.30Am and 2.00Am in a club where social animals meet ? Was Jessica a clean girl ? Was she not knowing bad side of business ? Was that a good business for a beautiful models like her ? And why we are blaiming only Manu Sharma ? Please note that I am not favouring manu sharma and he should be punished for all his sins. However the issue is different. All bars should not opereate after 11 PM. This is a solution to all such problems. Bar girls are most of the times molested. Some times they are raped or forced to sleep..... And we do nothing because some TAPORI did something to Kalyan Bar girl who lives in ZOPADPATTY. Why we are not going to Indiagate and demand justice. because we are not bothered with either tapori or that bar girl. But when she is high society bar girl and people like manu sharma are involved, we need justice and we talk legal. So the point is how we think and how we take things. If we say that its fine to take guns for justice, we should also be fine when someone kills our family member for the want of justice. Because thats the thinking we have adopted and we should be rational with same thinking all the time..... I dont think that DJ & Party were fighting for India in the movie. They tried to protest and after lathi charge, they considered that they cant do anything and therefore they will inspire the mass by killing DM. And when they found that DM was honoured, they were disapointed and therefore went on Radio. Killers of Indira had some reasons. Killers of Rajiv Gandhi also had some reasons. But we dont appreciate those killers. We dont talk with them on radio and appreciate their actions. So my friends, Rang De was a movie..... If you enjoyed, its good. However I have expressed my views that there is nothing inspirational in the movie. And if you are inspired, thats good. Now think what you can do for your country and how you will do it. Dear Tanveer, I like class & comedy movies. I liked Bhagat Sing (Ajay Devgan) which was a good movie. That movie inspired me a lot. Recently Swades was a good movie which also inspires in some way. Though it was not a great movie, it inspired me. Instead of complainting, we should work for betterment was the idea behind the film. Basically I watch movies for entertainment. Some movies touches your heart. Parinita was alos a good movie. I like SHALIMAR in old movies.

Hey I am last to post my views. This movie doesn't inspire at all. It is misguiding youth by projecting new generation kids as today's Bhagat Sing/Aazad. Film maker could have show DJ and party fighting against corruption which was the root cause of an accident. Defence Minister was shown corrupt and therefore they decided to kill him.... just because they could not do anything on the issue. They didn't try anything. This is definitely not a solution. If you cannot cut the root of a tree(corruption), cutting branches is not a solution, according to me. If we accept DJ & Party, we must also accept Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussain. Even they believe in Jihad for better society and justis. DJ & Party faught because of loss of a friend. Their life had no goals and they were just living for the sack of living. Friend's death gave them a direction which was a misdirection...... Chandrashekhar Azaad and Bhagat Sing were great people and they had definite goals. They were living for the freedom of country and were ready to die for country. They had no personal animity with anyone. Hence director has misguided people by constantly comparing DJ & Party with Bhagat Sing and Party. This comparision doesn't justify. In short, it was a movie, made with a goal to earn money. It was not made to inspire anyone. And as far as I know, no son in India has killed his corrupt father or politician after watching this movie. So the movie did not inspired anyone. :-) And if you still believe that the movie was great and really inspired you, you must acknowledge that there is one OSAMA inside you who has a lot of Anger. If you cannot change the society or system, you need not become OSAMA/SADDAM. Please dont compare DJ with Aazad or Bhagat. He can only be compared with OSAMA. In summery, it was a TP for all who watch movie and dont apply mind. And it was a MAHA BOARING movie for rest.

Saurav, New battery is good. It lasts for 2 days. It may last for a day if talk time is more than 2 hours per day. If you dont talk at all, it lasts for 2 days. However it is powerful than old battery. Cost of new battery is Rs.1500. Since I have LG6130 with me, I want to dispose this phone for 3000. I was given one battery in May and another battery now. So actually this phone has 2 new battry and new LCD panel. Any GTRAN lover may please contact me if they want to but this handset which is in good condition.

Dear All, Finally Reliance and GTRAN service Center helped me. I got a call from GTRAN SS and they asked me to collect new battery. However they said that LCD pabel was not available and would come in 3-4 months. I took up this matter with RELIANCE and told them that it was very unfair. Reliance was importer of phone and hence they were supposed to provide cervice. GTRAN has sold mobile business to another company which is not manufacturing handsets now. Hence parts are not easily available. Reliance guy told me to wait for 3-4 days. Meanwhile I went to GTRAN SS to collect new battery. I was given a new battery and surprisingly they changed my LCD unit also. Now the phone works well. I noticed that many people were coming to GTRAN SS for lcd unit replacement. Many of them had tried to get it repaired outside. In many cases LCD units were broken and were being claimed under warrantee. This LCD unit is cosing Rs.4600 !!!! I think that is the reason why GTRAN SS dont entertain most people on LCD unit issues. However as a genuine customer, I got it replaced free of charge. Next day I got call from Reliance Cust. Care that they were ready to provide me new handset of GTRAN against my old handset. I guess that new handset was from their old unslod stock. Since my phone was working well, I denied to take new handset from them. My issue with reliance was related to service and warrantee. However I had to face a lot of troubles in last 3 months for getting replacement of battery + LCD panel and phone replacement. So if you are one who is stuck up with GTRAN handset, take some action and you will get replacement or repair. Atleast one new handset is available with them which might be for you. So genuine GTRAN customers, rush to Reliance Customer Care south Mumbai !!!!!!!!!

Guys, Finally I got solution for LG LINK. Actually USB port driver that comes along with CD has problems. Search for PL2303 USB driver ( URL http://www.ramelectronics.net/download/BF-...03_v1.5.0.0.zip ) and install it. After that when you run PC Link, you can connect to software. But this software is only for getting pictures from your mobile. I need a version that can import / export ringtones + pictures + sms. Help file show all these features but I can use only import of pictures from mobile. I am using software given by lgmobiles.com . Any suggestions ?

Nikhil, Reliance website gives RCONNECT SOFTWARE. I cant install it for 6130. Though modem is installed, it hangs and nothing happens. Hence finally , modem is not installed and Rconnect icon is not made. Now I can install RCONNECT for LG 2030. But when I connect using it, I am getting login name - password error. + connecting conditions for PC LINK software. Hence I need RCONNECT software for 6130 first so that I can install modem. Then your trick should work for PC link. OR tell me which LG model software you choose while installation so that I can try software for some other phone and install.

Nikhil, Please tell me which driver works with LG6130. In cheetah CD, there is no software for 6130. Reliance website software is without driver. So please tell me which model should be selected so as to cheetah cable work. I am still getting error though used your trick.

Thanks BHarti Sunil, I can use RCONNECT and DESKTOP LITE. However LG LINK is not working. It seems from your talks that Cheetah data cable has problem. However if anyone got original data cable and cd from LG/Reliance, can you email original software with drivers in zip format to dhirensanghavi@gmail.com ? I need it only from LG CD as reliance wensite doesnt provide drivers for 6130. If anyone is successful in using LG LINK from Cheetah or Indcable data cable, please share your secret and tell us how it worked using tricks if any. Thanks
