Where can i get an Unlocked cdma EVDO dongle? Which brand do you all suggest? And is the process of activating Reliance EVDO on an unlocked dongle easy? I doubt reliance web world would be of little help as the dongle is not Reliance locked. Also should i get a new RUIM for data or my existing RUIM can be recharged with a data pack? And also what about the voice call facility if i use the existing RUIM in the dongle? Sorry to post so many questions at a time, because i am not aware of all this.

Is BSNL 3G reliable in terms of data? I have heard that the data connection always gets repeatedly disconnected.

It seems that temple gangapur also covered by tata indicom. So I advice you to buy unlocked CDMA dongle and use tata docomo prepaid CDMA card by charging with rs.95. In Mumbai you will get 3G/EVDO and gangapur 1x. The trick would be use APN/user name as MEID@omh.ttsl.in and password as internet. You can get 4.5 gb data for 95 with validity period of 30 days. No dude, Ganagapur does not have Tata Docomo cdma network. I am a Tata Docomo cdma postpaid subscriber and that is the only reason why i am considering Reliance. Have been there twice in the last 20 days.

I had bought Nokia 101 for my wife. The voice volume is really PATHETIC. the volume is so low that she has to ask the caller to repeat the sentence many times. I tried changing the speaker twice but with no difference in the voice quality. The mobile repairer told me that the phones hardware does not support the voice loudness so any speaker installed will give the same output. Ditto with my Micromax C115.

Yes I too bought Samsung Primo Duos yesterday. Its a very good phone. But you can't switch off either sim which was possible in my Samsung w139.

Ok got it, it being a single sim phone. But thats too good, one can switch between gsm and cdma networks as and when required. But what about 3G?? Does it support EVDO as well as 3G on GSM? I have a GSM S3, wud definately want to go for this world phone.

Hi friends, Today i went to recharge my Idea sim, i saw Airtel MAY 2012 pamphlet stuck on the shop wall. There was Rs.197 recharge which gives 1000 local mins to any network with 30 day validity. Recharged it on my Airtel no and is working fine. That comes to less than 20 ps per min to any local network. Cheers... Dr.Abhay Shah.

Just confirmed today at idea shop, Rs.295 for 1000 local mins, 30 days validity, Mumbai Circle.

Also heard that Idea mumbai is giving 1000 local min for Rs.325, val 30 days.
