Hi Friends!! I am in a big problem. While fiddling with my Kyocera Programming Settings, after entering the SPC Code, the Home Screen, I changed the original phone number(10XXXXXXXX) something, and I have forgotten it. Now my set is not working, though it is receiving the network... Please tell me a way of recovering that no. Will Web World guys tell me??? Or will it be possible thru HCC or GSK somehow?? Hi... Is the MIN number fixed for a Handset or Fixed for a Reliance Number? Because earlier I transferred my number from LG 6130 to Kyocera 7135, and then I changed the MIN accidently. But thereafter, I changed the MIN back by having a look at my LG 6130 Set. That MIN worked for my Kyocera, but I have lost it. So, I tend to think it is a Reliance Specific Number, so someone from Reliance can help me get it... Supernova... please help!!

Hi Arun Even I am getting the SRCP message, but I noticed a difference. When I remove the battery and keep it on the cradle, it works perfectly!! How is that possible!! I find it really weird.. Could it be due to overcharging of battery?? Please answer experts!!

Hi Arun and friends... I went to the Web World today, but they said they could not retrieve the MIN number, they didn't understand what I was talking about. They said that my number could only be activated on a new phone but the old phone(7135) would become useless. Can I instead use an HCC for this purpose? I mean I deregister the existing set using an HCC and then reactivate it back to the same set?? Is there anyone in Reliance who can perhaps help me recover my MIN/Phone No on the forum?? PLEASE HELP guys... its urgent!!

I reckon upgrade to the firmware is very useful. But these multiple posts make understanding the whole process quite difficult. It would be great if some experts who have done it successfully can post a STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO UPGRADING 7135, so that others can do it smoothly, along with the tools required available to download. Hi.. Another couple of issues I wanna know about are: Can we use Yahoo Messenger on Kyocera 7135? How to enable T9 input in SMS etc, it gets really cumbersome without that. Any 3rd party utility which does that?

Another problem I am facing is I am not able to reach the slot cycle index settings, and there is no "More" button when I enter into programming menu. Could someone tell me how that should be done?

Hello Friends A WARNING!! DO NOT EVER CHANGE THE PHONE NUMBER BY GOING INTO 111111 AND OPTIONS ETC I changed whatever number was there to my reliance number and my Kyocera 7135 stopped working. After that I saw the number from my old RD 6130(MIN) and then could finally somehow restore my Kyo. Annish do you have any clue as to why this may be happening?

Hello friends I own an LG 6130 right now and I am thinking of purchasing an LG 6000. But 6130 uses a JAVA platform whilst the LG RD6000 uses BREW platform for RWorld applications. My main concern is whether all the applications, mainly Rail Reservation News Channels streaming Video clips etc will continue to work in RD 6000.. Someone was telling me that only about 60 apps work for 6000 compared to 239 for 6130. Please guide me the techies out there, and guys who use 6000. Thanks Rohit

Hi... Even I tried this on LG 6130. I tried putting in the settings of my old Tata Indicom phone(Kyocera) into NAM2. But strangely enough, the screen showed "Please contact Reliance Customer Care". I guess Reliance has built a safeguard against registering on other networks in the handset firmware. But I am sure there has to be a workaround, maybe someone can shed more light on this. Hi.. I am from Delhi and I implemented this hack on my 6130 3 months back, and was getting decent speeds of around 13-15 KB/sec. But now since a week or so, speeds have fallen to about 2-3 KB/sec only!! Anyone else with a similar problem?? What is this due to? Has Reliance restricted the Rconnect speeds all over Delhi, other guys from Delhi with 6130 and this hack, please respond! Solutions are welcome.

Friends This find of entering the service menu of LG 6130 is a pathbreaking one. I tried lots of R & D with it. First of all I explain what I did. I had an older Kyocera 1135 of Tata(good old days when Tata came to Delhi). From that, I took the SID/NID settings and the channel nos. Primary CHA: 283 Secondary CHB: 691 and so on. Then I changed the phone number also to a Tata one, arbitrary choice. Then I selected NAM2 to which I had made the Tata settings. When NAM2 is selected, the handset displays "Please Contact Reliance Customer Care" and Tata Network doesn't come. Conversely, I tried putting the NAM1 settings on my Reliance phone onto my Kyocera 1135, and they too did not work, despite exact replication of all settings. Reliance appears to have restricted access to other networks despite settings change. Can anyody tell how to get this handset working for Tata? Do I have to get the ESN of this handset on Tata's database first? Ashoksoft please tell me your mail id at least so that we can interact thru mail openly.

Hi... I was reading some other posts regarding the degrading service of Reliance. I think they have added another feather to that dubious cap. I have applied the changes mentioned to my 6130 and it connects at 230 kpbs. So I used to get effective speeds of around 13-15 KB/sec. But all ofa sudden, I am hardly getting 4-5 KB/sec in Delhi. The network strength is full, still this is going on. This means that one thing for which Reliance was known data access speeds, that also it is adamant to lose. On top of it they have withdrawn Unltd On-Net packs, limited data transfer plans to the s***er Rconnect cards. Seems they are hell bent on self-destructing the company, this Anil Ambani's gotta be crazy. <TOPIC MERGED!>

These Reliance ppl are on the fast track of losing whatever credibility they have left. Barely 10 months after launching the Data Based Freedom and Platinum Plans they have discontinued them for RIM/FWP and restricted these to their stupid Data Cards. They were anyway not able to sell those f***ing cards, so now they're pushing it down ppl's throats who intend to use data plans must buy those cards. Anyways, lucky ones like me who had subscribed to this plan before would get a chance to use it till I change to any other plan. These ppl will realize the folly of changing plans too soon, they will lost customer faith.

Hi... Even I face this problem with xp, have a 6130 and ftdi local cable, disconnects after a minute. But i have zone alarm firewall also. so should i activate windows firewall? Any other solution will be appreciated.

Hi... I am facing a particular problem with my LG RD6130 while using RConnect. I first tried installing the drivers for RD 6130, but it did not work. I have a USB Cable(Local Market) with FTDI Chipset. I first installed the cable drivers and then the LG 2130 Serial Modem Drivers. It works flawlessly on my Desktop for hours. But on my laptop also, I used the same installation procedure. But on that, it works for 5-10 mins, but mysteriously gets disconnected after that. I configured it to work at 230,400 kbps as per the instructions in the forum for RD 6130, so it gives 15-17 KB/sec. Please help me diagnose the cause of this problem. My OS is Windows XP SP2. Hi, I also tried to first use UniCDMA. I ran LGKDP, then UNICDMA, HF to DM mode. It worked ok. Then I tried to run QPST, it asked for SPC. I also ran BitPim, but it gave some errors, or exceptions. Please help me, how to get this SPC, can I download some tool to get SPC from the ESN? Thanks in advance!! Rohit Rohela
