either u BUY a wireless ADSL modem(Dlink 604 T) or just buy a regular wirless router (netgear/linksys) & connect it to existing regular ADSL modem

Thats the reason.... they are getting a well managed company ready made. Hope they learn something when the aquire it.(if they do get it in first place)

My personal finding is that - MOst people dont follow the basic instruction PLEASE CHARGE YOUR BATTERY FOR ATLEAST 12 hrs before the FIRST USE. (even if light turns green) When the first charge is not done for 12 hrs... no matter what u do later on.. u wont enjoy the battery life. other measures are already mentioned in some post above.

if reliance takes over... its win-win for company as well as consumer. The synergies would be fruitful both ways. Remember... there is still Bharti, Idea , BSNL as competition. Besides the cost of changing providers in GSM is hardly a barrier to stop consumer from migrating from 1 operator to another.SO its not that reliance can increase tariffs on thier will.

when results got annouced there was huge rush to the IIM sites... some of them even unaccesible & took really awful lot of time to load.

RELIANCE-HUTCH JOINT ENTITY is win-win for consumers & owners. Imagine the wide base of customers one can call in ON NET PACK & FREE SMS IN ON NET PACK. It could make seamless roaming in CDMA & GSM, Just like China unicom. Possibilities are endless... but hey..so is speculation. SO keep speculating.

Anil Might prove to be a winner in the race. His closeness to Nimesh Kampani of JM Morgan Stanley - who is appointed by Ruias to negotiate thier side of deal is prime reason that he might convince Ruias to sell him the 33%. The Ruias stake is the only hassle Anil has in way for complete 100% takeover. Rest assured that when ambanis (wether anil or mukesh) are in mood to get a business, damm they care abt the price. Anyway, the more the price he pays for the company... more the consumer shall suffer.

GUYS.... some of you are linked with Reliance thru your freinds who work there or some other way. Its time to make these gusy realize that there is a need to get MICROSOFT/PALM operating system based Smart phones in the line of handsets. The world is changing & features like WiFi is need of hour. Any Bright Ideas..!

@hpnasik already know abt UTSTARCOM- Thx for yr BhramaGyan. What i meant was... LG was with Reliance since inception & it has better relations with RIM so as to launch new models. MOst LG models always feature free talktime on RIM. So with respect to all that, High end Models by LG made more sense. UTSTARCOM wasnt in RIM Until it launched a new low end handset. Suddenly it comes in & launches PDA. SO there is some lesson for LG to learn.

NOPES> Sala - Kal ka aaya hua UTSTARCOM... PDA bhi launch karke jaata hai... & its coming up with Dual mode (GSM + CDMA) model called T66. Look at LG.... its there since the launch of RIM ..but still faltu handsets.

he is saying that its a good buy for that price. Entirely his estimates.

LG should make this Firmware freely downloadable.
