Until reliance clarifies thier stand GSM or CDMA, who would wanna put money on this phone. IF they get permission, they are in position to roll out GSM network in less than a month. They already have towers setup.. all they need is equipment. They are already in process of sourcing it. DUnno what on mind of MR AA. when are they gonna launch the handset. As for EVDO... its already on campus @ DAKC. Today is end of a 3 day training session of Reliance employees relating to evdo. So expect a time frame of 3-6 mths from now. Also it depends on spectrum n all. so there is no fix date.

well, u cant comapare apples with oranges. CDMA phones cant be compared to GSM. Think about GSM phones available when GSM was new to this country. last quarter of 2006 is gonna witness some good phones in Reliance. and frankly u cant do much except wait for it.

Confirmed news that 6265 testing is over since quite some time. Should be out by month end or early next month. They are testing UTStarCom 6700 with windows OS ( Similar to ppc6700 of verizon & sprint in USA). The testing is also about to complete. It takes atleast 3 months from completion of testing to commercial launch.
