ALL LG phones are of CHEAPEST possible quality. Anyone who feels otherwise, needs to get your head exmined.

My view... quality is 10% physical & 90% as percived by the user. SO my freinds lets not discuss which company is best. Lets get the main point... Reliance needs to give freedom to its customer to choose handsets... alleast with RUIM card facility avialble now... it should happen like GSM. Buy a Reliance RUIM card & then choose a CDMA handset of personal choice. Be it samgung , LG , NOKIA or imported piece.Let the actual users decides who wins... WHAT SAY GUYS..!

THe Real Reson is MARGIN OF PROFIT. NOKIA is available thru its own distribution network & dealers. So Reliance gets similar margin to that of regional distributor & it has to give WEBworld a margin to. So Reliance do not get the CREAM. In case of LG & Samsung, they are intrested in SELLING BULK quantity of handsets, they dont care about after sales service. SO they offer Huge quanity discounts to Reliance. In turn, Reliance has to sell BULK of LG handsets. SO you see, they bundle offer with LG so that it sells more & Reliance earns more. JAi Dhirubahi. P.S:- I wont be surprised if Dhirubhai is negotiating a deal with Indrabhagwan & yamraj for Swarg-Narg INfoComm.

WW & WWE do not have demo piece yet. so would like to know from actual users whether if you load ringtones, pictures , wallpapers into MiniSD card via PC, are u able to trasfer that into INbuilt memory of phone.

i enquired from *333 & confirmed that price is 7999 Rs. Local Web world express doent have the demo piece as yet. This phone needs bluetooth, bigger screen. People would luv to pay a little extra for that. Someone mentioned earlier, RD6500 is also on its way. Any news that this phone will be bluetooth enabled. whats the use of MP3, video n pics.. if u cant share it with frinds instantly. you cant carry a computer + card reader everywhere u go. this just kills the whole concept of being MOBILE. Anyway, its thier phone n design. lets hope they learn it sooner than later.

i have seen some guy use external antenna with wire attached to phone. He broght it from singapore. dont know abt INDIA. some company called ashirwad solutions sells similar products for GSM. chek with them. guess its www.ashirwadsolutions.com

the USB cables are for those people who dont have serial ports . (some laptops dont have serial port) the speed in either of the cables should be same. Surfing speed doent depend on Datacable...but network range & congetion in that area. (COnfirmed this with a RIM employee)

there are no charges for MMS. its FREE. I dont think there is any sfware as yet to dnload ringtone or pics from phone to pc or vice versa Via Datacable. Best thing is send pics/ringtones from pc to phone via email.

nice post. i have 6130, USB cable, WINXP with SP-2 & same problem. Dont blame the OS. I using third party cable. I m returning the cable to the company (bought through local dealer). They offer support on this.(intresting part isn't it) SO lets see what they say .... will keep u guys updates. What i understand is .. way this thing works is... THERE is no DIRECT USB-to-PHONE interface. The cable is in 2 parts . USB to serial convertor & then Serial to PHONE adpater. A serial port is reffered as RS232 . Prolific only makes drivers for USB to RS232 adapter. Heance prolific drivers will only make a virtual com port (com4 or com5). Now if the cable is faulty, the CDMA MODEM will not be detected & heance you may have problems conneting to modem through the cable. (even though u think that its working since you have installed PROLIFIC 2303 drivers) EXPERTS:- IF i there is something wrong or missing... plz correct me & update my knowledge.
