U will need to put username n password for EVDO. The authentication is different then CDMA 1X procedure. IF we can replicate that authentication procedure on MOGUL or for that matter any other handset - EVDO should work. By the way, i would appreciate if you can attach the EVDO PRL or upload it somewhere n give us the link.

We all know how HTC mogul & other evdo supported handsets are used on reliance... I m not going to repeat it. My question is.... has anyone tried to use HTC handsets instead of Netconnect Broadband Plus USB device ... So when u activate Handsets by broadband plus starter kit & *229.... shouldn't all setting be done OTA ... & handset get high speed data thru EVDO. I know, i m not the expert in this... but just a random thought. Can some1 plz explain this..

besides the OS you are not sure about the hardware... For a second assume its genuine Android... but what if its slow due to hardware ?? You might get2 use one of these in Manish market/Musafir market area of Mumbai. Any mumbaikar willing to be our beta tester ???
