-
have you checked this out? http://www.rimweb.com/forums/index.php?sho...indpost&p=10486 about the downloads gallery... we NEED volunteers!!
-
basically, i dont have any thing against anyone uploading my software at some place. Only thing i wanted to point out was atleast be kind enought to inform me that you are uploading the s/w someplace. i dont even want a "May I.." all i want is a notification. Mainly it's because i want People to Come to rimweb and the download the software. Only so that rimweb grows. If you want to upload it to ur briefcase, do so, but see that only ppl from rimweb have access to it. i.e. it is not publicised separately from rimweb, so that users can directly go to ur birefcase without knowing about rimweb. that's all i wanted to say.
-
Dont tell me...... Are these the same ones you had created...? Hey, We are already using that...! ..... Hey.... I really appreciate that someone has shown the patience to consolidate all these and put it into one place. So, that everyone can access it.... Good move, net_secrets.!!! keep it up dude... well, might be a good move, but i beg to differ. :'( i had written these software ONLY to be hosted at RIMWeb and at my site. has anyone tried to ask my permission before downloading these and uploading these to some other place? a request atleast? NO! it is a free software, but not directly opensource, moreover im still alive, RDRingtone and RDWallpaper Softwares are not rogue software, they are not underground releases. They Are Meant ONLY to be downloaded through RIMWeb.com SO, mr. net_secrets what do u have to say about this?
-
any guesses to who has written the RDWallpaper And RDRingtone Software??
-

now, see, u cant download that WBMP, as i told u, u can only view it.
-
that transparent thing, is called lamination it's done in many street shops, for appros rs 20.
-
and moreover, once u delist, theres no way u can re-list
-
hey man, please take note that 3.wbmp is not a standard bitmap, like BMP, it's different.
-
well, u see, what exactly can we download? what is Downloading? Downloading means making an Active save of data content of a file, so that it can be used again later. the file name is only an identifier for the data. and as for the phone, it can only Download things (eg pics) which have got links to them. like http://xya.com/picx/jkl.jpg (just an eg) now, that can be downloaded.(eg) but for a picture linked like < img src= xyz.jpg > that can only be RENDERED. i.e. it is passively downloaded to the cache and is rendered. not actively so if reliance's networks find a request for an active download, it's blocked.

Motorola As A Cell Scanner
StaticElectricity replied to Vishal Gupta's topic in Technical / OS related
well, basically, what we are doing here is called packet scanning. since all phones (GSM & CDMA) use a packet based communication system instead of a live line, by saying a live line, i mean like radio, which has a specific frequency for each station, whereas in GSM & CDMA, the provider (eg Reliance) has got a specific frequency of operation like 400MHZ for example. next, each phone gets a sideband(sort of) like 385.35Mhz and the next 385.36 MHz. but mostly a few phones use the same sideband (* a few) and then they send packets, with headers which identify the phone to the service providers tower. so basically what is written above, enables us to scan for other packets in a specific sideband thereby enabling us to scan other phones using the same frequency. though from the above post, i cant figure out wheather it's for motorola GSM or motorola CDMA. moreover, shorting different pins may DAMAGE THE PHONE BEYOND REPAIR!! so be careful before trying out such stuff. -
hey, how many sms'es have u got saved in ur phone?? (other than the ones in the INBOX)
-
BitPIM is a personal imformation manager (PIM), just like any other phone to pc syncs s/w the only thing special about it is that it works with RD2030 and can edit the phone's filesystem. i really dont know wheather it'll work with grtan. but i am sure that it wont cauz any harm to the phone, as long as u dont delete any files stroed in the phone.

as far as i know, reliance, (or even jataayu browesr) does not support downloading of any DATA content except for wap sites, embeded WBMPS. also, the other jataayu browser, available at www.midilet.org, only shows "Data Content Cannot Be Shown On This Browser" that means, no downloading from any wap site, not even tagtag.
-
well, chirag, i think u are only partially correct, b cauz, as per RFC 2812 (SMTP & ESMTP protocol specifications), the MAIL FROM: header field, can be written as MAIL FROM:"Nick"<actual email> such as MAIL FROM:"StaticElectricity"<static@mydomain.com> so, the FROM field, in many webmail cos' will only show FROM: StaticElectricity instead as static@mydomain.com so, the change is maybe, ading the nick.

wish u both a very happy birthday

Brew Protocol To Communicate With Lg Phone
StaticElectricity replied to Code's topic in Technical / OS related
well, i really dunno, but a long time ago, when i was finding out all the AT commands, i had written a s/w in VB to send random AT commands such as -> AT$AAAA AT$AAAB AT$AAAC AT$AAAD AT$AAAE etc, i dunno what fault it was (program's or phones or Port's) but the phone always restarted after the 38 or 39 or 40th message was passed. -
Brew Protocol To Communicate With Lg Phone

A Small Piece Of unreleated info here, that if u send 38 to 40 unknown "AT" commands to the phone, it'll automatically restart.
