what you say that the pages load faster with the default skin maybe because all the elements of the older(default) skin are already there in you'r browsers Cache so u dont need to d/l the same pictures of 'delete' 'edit' etc each time.. if u use the new skin for sometime it'll be just as good..

well, i dont think it's possible to access system directories... im not even sure wheather there are any so called System directories. but u can acess the phone's O/S by reading the EEPROM in a EEPROM Reader.

that is correct but what more can we expect for low end handsets such as RD2030 which rel. is giving at throw away prices.. any higher end GSM handsets w/ colour screens and good gaming support cost a fortune !!!

a DoS attack does not destroy data. it only floods the Server with useless queries which increases the load on the server thus the server cannot function properly .. i.e. it cannot keep up with the flow of data .... just as if u run too many applications on u'r pc at the same time.. but indeed some kinds of attacks do destroy data.

yes what you say is correct.. i tried accessing yahoo groups .. i got a 'Page Cannot Be Displayed ' error... but i tried a proxy and i got through.. also i cant access hotmail... is it too blocked?? this is the limit now Reliance is getting out of it's boots and is surely going to get hurt....

Something Great That I Found Out Just Now.. We Can Browse Any Website Throught RSurf. The Service Is Provided By Google, With On-The-Fly HTML to WML conversion!!! To Use This Just Type In http://www.google.com/wml?hl=en&wmlmode=url (that is case sensitive) in the Go To.. option in Rsurf. Then Type In The Website Name And It's There On The Phone!! (Takes Quite A Bit Of Time Though...) But It's Great!!

no it's absolutely not possibly.. (hope that i might be wrong) but if what u are talking about .. it not a function of the bitmap itslef but it is because of the way that windows renders that logo bitmap. a bitmap as such can not be animated.. and for animated wallpapers i dont think it is possible since the phone should have an animation rendering subroutine if it is to be able to display animated wallpapers but I dont think it has one..

well, jayant are u sure that u have set an appropiate COM port timeout according to I/O buffer? bacauz ur program starts up but does nothing and then hangs up... and may i ask why have u UPX packed you'r EXE? (i dont trust ppl who UPX pack their EXE's )

well, bcauz we're individuals here ..visiting this site for our own interest we dont get paid to do whatever we do here. so y shud we spend 1 Lakh of rupees to get the documentation for the BREW protocol and then give it to the forum for free?? the only problem is documentation man.. w/o docu. no one can write programs... and purchasing docu for BREW protocols is out of the reach of individuals... only MNC's and other big co's like reliance have such purchasing power..

yeah the s/w gets hung up when run... maybe the com port detection routine is not correct...

yeah u are right... there's a folder named Brew in the new 7230 and 7130 phones... but what im talking about is the BREW protocol... which is a Propretery Protocol used by Qualcomm to datacommunicate with the phones using qualcomm's chipsets. if anyone can get the protocol specifications we can write programs to send sms'es ...and u/l games etc...(maybe)

well, mr cp_panthi.. i dont think that is't possible to send SMS'es using AT Commands. (over Rel network) it' as far as i presume has to be done with BREW or using J2ME..

well, u can use Adobe Acrobat. on the toolbar u'll see text select tool use that and then copy the text. u can also press v and then select text and then copy it.
