hey just look up member no.1's join date!! (member no.1 is Arun ..the one who started this forum).. -
well, if the phone dosen't boot up ... BitPim will not detect the phone and you cannot restore backups. so if u accidentialy delete some files, w/o rebooting the phone, restore a previous backup and then reboot.
-
sorry, i misunderstood quite a bit... i thought that you need UNICDMA to READ a Phone That is based on Win CE or Symbian o/s. Well, then I really don't think that UniCDMA can be installed on a Phone. cauz it's not written for Win CE/Symbian o/s. and such systems need specially written software...try searching the net..u might get a s/w which can be installed on a Win CE Platform. but yes u can use USB -> Serial Drivers on Win CE... u will need to install theses drivers.. try using EdgePort drivers... you might also want to check out these links.. www.pc-counselor.com/u2s.htm www.pc-counselor.com/e740.htm

hmmm... want to emulate a RS232 serial... from a USB ..... well, mobile->PC emulation is quite simple ..u just need to convert a USB to RS230 and then use a RS232 driver at the PC... but i why do u want to first use USB and then convert to rs232 and such stuff... why not just connect it directly using usb??
-
Yes what you say is absolutely possible, using USB to serial drivers is possible on Windows CE.. and frankly I dont know weather Symbian o/s supports it... and as for UniCDMA it may or may not work ... it entirely depends on the phone and the manufacturer... cauz all the other phone o/s'es (not windows/symbian) are hardcoded in assembly... so cant really say for sure that it *will* or it *wont* work but i guess is that it shuld work
-
if you don't re-boot then you surely can... but if u do... then u'll have to get the phone re-flashed if it dosen't work(boot)...
-
well, if u cant frame a proper question how do u suppose to get a good correct answer?? we are not all telepaths' here u know...

Ringtones For LG RD 2030 & LG RD 5130
StaticElectricity replied to Arun's topic in Ringtones / Wallpapers / Themes / Applications / Games
well here are 4 airtel ringtones.. all the four are the same.. but they sound different so check them out on the phone... (btw i really like airtel theme so i converted this one myself ..got it from airtel site..) enjoy.. airtelcollection.zip -
well, i would highly suggest you NOT to jerk out the cable from the phone end or from the PC end... cauz it really may cauz more damage than u can imagine... as a small list i might like to include.. blown up com-port. blown up phone pcb blown up phone's connection port in rather strange circumstances i have even the motherboard being rendered useless.. (infact it happened to me when i pulled out a usb printer...) well, smaller probs include... damage to file system of the phone damage to datacord physical damage to phone port etc etc.. also at times there might be none... !!?? but dont try it as long as u can
-
well, i meant that weather u are using palmtop sync option or regular-dialup or r-connect software by reliance... please clarify...
-
well, BORED, just to make sure u have not deleted any system files, try re-booting the phone... if it re-boots fine then the damage is not critical. WARNING if u have deleted some critical file be prepared for the phone not booting up ...and u may have to go to RWW or LG service center to re-flash/rectify the problem...

Reliance Tries To Dump Max Gamer
StaticElectricity replied to kaplish's topic in Reliance Communications
Actually the fact is that reliance it trying to cover up their illegal mess... cauz they have loaded games which they have bought just single copies and running it on lots of pc's which is really illegal...moreover their games licences are home user licences... not cibercafe user licences... they are different/..so actually reliance is trying to save its own... -

StaticElectricity replied to sunil_jok's topic in Forum Feedback
yeah y'ur right niket.. even i dont think that there's any sub-grouping reqd. for Tech/Programing Section ...(just imagine how painful it'll be to check a sub-topic called technical under each different handsed... ) but if ppl are really getting lost maybe we can have sub topic like SMS Stuff, Wallpaper And Ringtones .. And Other Technical Articles... and post accordingly.... but i dont think it's really necessary... -
well, it wouldnt need any amplification if connected into the mic in... but maybe it would if connected into the line in...
