you can try putting all the 'pieces' of the setup into a single directory and then run it... most of the times this works.

true... but if u want to save hard disk space and avoid re-installation of the same program in XP ... u may want to export the programs Registry entries from win 98 registry and add it in to XP registry. then the programs will work fine.

well, vishal, sorry for such a late reply.. im really busy now a days... but since you ask... on the filesystem, u can , IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING perhaps try changin the .jad and .jar files to see wheather custom java MIDLets can be uploaded to the phone... But whatever you do... be careful. Generally java apps reside in the amr directory. i.e. if suc a directory exists on ur phone... i wont be of much help to you since im not regular... but ask around... there are lots of ppl here to help... best of luck.

hmm... dunno about 6230... but the 2030 one supports wml only and wbmp... some specialised applications also use PNG format.

Chirag, generally such worms hijack IE and scan the url for antivirus web pages, which are then redirected to some other site or blank. Its quite easy to circumvent this , use Firefox, if that dosent work, instead of typing the url of the antivirus site, use the IP address instead, like... www.McAfee.com is 216.49.88.12 just type in http://216.49.88.12 www.symantec.com is 206.65.174.89
