AT Commands & SMS Software
StaticElectricity replied to StaticElectricity's topic in Technical / OS related
gurup, these codes (most of them) will work on any CDMA modem. if the LG LSI can be connected to a computer, it will respond to the AT commands. Word of Warning: please use caution. -

AT Commands & SMS Software
StaticElectricity replied to StaticElectricity's topic in Technical / OS related
well, since this old old thread is back to life, it as far as i know is possible to send SMS using any handset which has a provision to connect to the computer. for the RD2030 there are a few BREW commands and not AT commands for sending SMS. these BREW documentation is propritery rights of qualcomm and registered licencees(reliance). so if someone can find the brew docu. its 100% possible. -

Affordable Unlimited Broadband In Mumbai!
StaticElectricity replied to linuxguy's topic in The Lounge
pretender, theres an easy solution to this ISP duping thing.. the thing is that ur isp is capping ur d/l speed so if u want to download at high speeds, download using port no 80. -
i dont think that the phone stops charging if the green light comes online. i dont know much about trickle chargers for Li-ion batteries, but the DESKTOP charger that we use IS a trickle charger. what it means is that if there is a flow of current form the charger to the phone battery, then the red light comes on, but if there is no flow of current from the charger to the battery, then the green light comes on. it could possible be just detetion of battery voltage, i.e. if the battery voltage is below the fully-charged voltage, then current flows into the battery else not.

well, at then end, all u can say is that you can not corss the alotted bandwidth. yea, its a different case if ur not even getting 4-5KB/s d/l speed with r-connect, but if ur gettig 7-10 KB/s , thats normal speed, cant be upped.

Project: Connect To Internet Using Microcontroller
StaticElectricity replied to rahulbhoi28's topic in Technical / OS related
noo, i guess rahulbhoi is trying to connect a phone to a standalone (embeded) device. not a computer. u kno, like, a phone connected to a palmtop kind of thing.. direct communication with uP. shudnt be mucht difficult, since the reliance phones use standard modem protocols, like kermit or x/y/z modem.(hopefully that is , since i dont know for myself, what protocol the modem is using) -
hmmm... i smell coding... need help?

How To Get Dtmf Input From Remote Phone On Fwp
StaticElectricity replied to amitkrmittal's topic in Technical / OS related
ya , it might be possible that way, but then, that would call for a custom program, to analyse the dtmf frequency, and then convert it to respective code. which, otherwise, when using DTMF input, is done by the phone. -
How To Get Dtmf Input From Remote Phone On Fwp
StaticElectricity replied to amitkrmittal's topic in Technical / OS related
well, i have never used DTMS tones on the FWP, so i really cant say much, but i do not think that its possible. 1) because theres as in fact, no actual dialtone. 2)when the phone is connected to the computer , all calls are OTA, not as like in a landline phone. 3)the phones s/w first recieves the commands and then the hardware, not as the conventional hardware modem. so i dont think that it is possible, but, u might as well give it a try if u get info from some other place. -
woah jusmail, thats a really fantastic find... ahhhhh yippee DOS is Back./*\

i'd beg to differ from all you ppl, and say that Win98SE is the best os as yet. I hate XP cauz it just hides everything, no direct memory accesses, no direct BIOS accesses, damn its a programers nightmare.
