  2. Do you mean the phone/tablet will communicate through 3.5mm jack? If yes, then its not possible. 3.5mm jack is used for sound signals. May be this jack will be used to support the POS attachement as a hinge or like. @ ni0987, you aren't correct. 3.5mm port can work as data/power port too. Have you seen apple ipod nano? It has 3.5mm port doing all these. For clarity on this, see the pictures where the swiping machine works through 3.5mm jack (the machine has 'Made in India' tag )
  3. How are you getting them FREE OF COST, Rajan? For me it is free for 10 minutes for the movies, and Rs. 249/month subscription is required for unlimited viewing.

  10. It's been confirmed by Avishek and Hitesh that '+1' can be given through Tapatalk. I never use Tapatalk, as I like the full browser view of our forum and use it on Opera Next (sometimes on Dolphin). Now it's time for you to thank Kapil (to practice giving '+1' through Tapatalk and to recognize Kapil's very helpful contribution)
  11. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II

Some problem is there, may be momentary, but it's getting stuck after about 40%. The 4shared link is here.. http://www.4shared.com/android/qMVGIrTc/Galaxy_S_III_Dandelion.html

  13. ^ @Ujjal, activating EVDO with an SMS is long over, MTS doesn't allow that any more.
  14. You are in a catch 22 position now. You cannot change your MTS connection for on-net call benefit; you have an EVDO capable OMH phone (Ace Duos) but your RUIM is 1X only and EVDO cannot be activated on that; network locked handsets from MTS like MTag or Livewire provide EVDO on special RUIMs meant for those handsets only, but you cannot change your existing number to any such smart phone number (to avail EVDO). Quite indecisive proposition.
  15. ^ Tata yet to have EVDO footprint at Asansol. So no way Only 1X speed is there. Ashis is talking about using EVDO on his Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos.
  16. ^ No it will not work at your place. Tata DoCoMo has EVDO footprint in some cities of North Bengal and Sikkim of Rest of West Bengal circle but they are yet to introduce it in south Bengal cities. So no chance as of now with MTS or Tata. You can try BSNL EVDO which is available on RUIM.
  17. ^ That's it. The UIM bundled with MTag is EVDO activated while you cannot get any new UIM activated with EVDO to use on Ace Duos.
  18. ^ Kapil, +1 for you. @Saket, you should also click on 'green up arrow' as you have also found it as 'very useful info'
  19. ^ Are you getting EVDO with your own RUIM on MTag and not getting EVDO when the same RUIM is inserted in Ace Duos? This shouldn't be the case.
  20. ^ I'm afraid, the MTS RUIM your uncle is using is not EVDO activated. If not activated yet, then it cannot be activated any more. Even if there is EVDO signal at Asansol, you will be getting 1X data only.
