Are these handsets being branded by Tata Indicom now? Along with these two OMH models, there are already a few other OMH models like LG 6160, LG 6210, LG 6300 and LG 6400 available in the market. The prices quoted are quite competitive. Are these prices include those voice and data offers? Is it a pan-India offer? Tata, on the contrary is promoting a bundled offer of Samsung handsets with voice+rental discounts.

A new slim & trim postpaid plan named Fab 4 has been introduced by Tata Indicom in which 100 minutes each of on-net & off-net local+STD, roaming incoming minutes and 100 SMS (local+national) are bundled for a monthly rental of Rs. 199. It is a per second plan while at home circle, but post free minutes, the tariff is a bit high for roaming - Rs. 1 for incoming/outgoing and Rs. 1.5 for outgoing STD.

^^ As per CC, this add-on is available while in home circle only. It's a voice call add-on, so will cease working while roaming (unlike SMS or data packs). You can check its pan-India presence by selecting different circles one by one from the drop-down menu. I've checked it and found that it's there everywhere including TTML areas.

This is really disappointing especially for 3G subscribers. It matters little whether the unlimited usage cap for 2G is revised to 6GB or not, as it is next to impossible to cross 6GB usage with the current state of connectivity that BSNL offers on GPRS/EDGE. But the withdrawal of unlimited usage for 3G subscribers is a real blow.

I used to use delivery report on my hTc Touch and now missing it on my Fascinate. I knew the registry tweak of Windows 6.5, but is there anything in android 2.1 a la registry tweak of Windows 6.5?

But that will no longer be a TataIndicom Number, I guess. Going back to TataIndicom after 3months' lock in period will again pose the same problem of non-acceptance of foreign MEID.

I was also going to suggest, Saket has suggested. Why not you give a try on TataIndicom? It's good vis-a-vis tariff, network, billing clarity, data availability and also SMS.

If I buy a USB Wifi router for my BSNL EVDO modem (ZTE AC8700),can anybody please guide me step-by-step to configure it so that I can use it for my laptop as well as my mobile. I can even share the signal with my friends with wifi handsets. There are routers available of brand EK Wireless, Leoxsys etc (I'm attaching pics). There is another option: if USB female to RJ45 male connector can be procured, cheaper wifi routers can also be configured. Portable USB wifi routers with built-in Li-ion battery are also available which are handy and through which EVDO signal can be accessed on mobile anywhere and on the move also. Anyways, I need guidance. Please help
