Is your RazrM is on JB 4.3? I upgraded it to 4.3 and found it's robbing off data from OMH RUIM, albeit I was getting voice signal. Downgrading to stock 4.2.2 is giving 1X data, no EVDO. Sticking to ICS is better, it allows EVDO with our RUIMs.

OTG also gives the freedom of using any pendrive and will prevent accidental damage of the micro USB port of phone as this rigid protrusion sticks out of the phone and an accidental shear on it can damage the port.

The best part of this custom ROM is that it is supporting Conference Calling. I'll not revert back to stock even if it fails to support 64 GB card. I was desperately looking for conference calling. I'll use the 64 GB card with Nikon D90.

Went for an upgrade today with Cyanogenmod ROM to JB 4.2.2 (AOKP version mr1_milestone-2, Kernel version 3.4.53) and finally installed the latest GAPPS through recovery.e It's an all-new experience with almost everything from latest Nexus but one bad thing I'm noticing. This ROM cannot recognize my 64GB MSD card, while it's fine with my earlier 32GB Sandisk Ultra. So, it appears that the Cyanogenmod team didn't take into account the feature that USC SGS3 is designed to support 64GB card. It's frustrating after the update and having a 64GB card in hand. Is there any way out?

However, Super DeBloater is fast and safe, hence better, although there is no option to choose from a list. For CWM recovery, it is much easier to use CWM ROM Manager Premium which installs recovery quickly without any hassle.

Are you using Snapdragon Battery Guru? It has default tendency to periodically turn Wi-Fi on. If yes, this can be modified at its setting.

Now it's really hard to have the statistics how many users (noobs or experts) have, knowingly or unknowingly, gone for the latest OTA update and lost data on their precious handsets! It's also very difficult for the sellers here (small or reputed) to guide each and every buyer down the line how to restrain from the update and to be safe how to root their handsets, which will prevent further possibility of the detrimental OTA update. Actually, I feel, soon after this data mishap was noticed, our forum should have one warning message (in bold red marquee) that "Don't go for such and such OTA update, otherwise your data will be lost" right at the Forum entry page .
