Anything with a one shot payment of 1 lac which stays invested for 4-5 yrs or 10 yrs.. I don't trust these market linked plans.. but maybe they payback max.. isn't it ?

More than making ppl realize the cons of Non-veg food.. just make them see the 'behind the scenes' atrocity. It makes me wanna leave non-veg. Question is, i also love fish & prawns.. is that fine ? ppl sulk at fur, but no one talks about leather..

@ Nagaraj Try considering buying a spare battery instead of selling at the same discount ! In case battery life is that important for you.

@ Hetal Theyre all saying that it lasts longer for the initial few charges after which the life diminishes especially upon using touch screen extensively.. BTW guys.. This is a major point i put forth while attaching the product note. It said only 950mAh !

^^^ Good question.. My current Nokia 3125 supports only 16 groups with 10 names each. Nokia 2865 supported only 10 groups with 10 names each.. Although im sure, there would have been great improvements in the CDMA handsets as far as groups are concerned as both these Nokia sets (that im currently using) are more than 2-3 yrs old.

Why not approach other sellers on this Forum who actively sell foreign handsets & make it workable with TATA/Rel etc. There are plenty to help you.. instead of going from TATA store to store.

I too remember reading that article but their reasons made no sense. A mobile number is neither handset or technology bound after MNP. Secondly, the only issue with CDMa is Handsets. As far as network is concerned, 1 CDMA tower = 2 of GSM. (thats why the pathetic state of Rel GSM) So think Green !

Using Nipon S6 (Made in Japan) .. bought from Alfa (Irla, Mumbai) 3.5 yrs back for 13K. Lack of shaky image correction (In non-flash mode) & Avg Battery life (due big screen) are the only downers. I heard S8 & S10's have also come.. BTW.. I have up blown almost 15K buying 'branded perfumes @ half price' from Alfa. Tried & tested.. they're all fake !! The sales guy will give some explanation for half rate in true gujju style..ignore it.

@Ankur.. got the OMH Ruim card for EVDO to work? It was shamelessly around 300-400 here in black market till few days back.. But looks like one of our members (Benu Sood - aka DC) fought with the WWEwalla for days & finally took it for free.

^^^ Me too interested in knowing about family floater plans.. But 5 lac seems to be an above average sum for a young family wanting a floater plan. I guess 3 lacs would be ok even in case of accidents. Now we see new players like Bharti-AXA & Apollo Medical Insurance. Apollo sounds more promising - coming from a group being in Chain of Hospitals.
