Cdma Coverage Pblm - Response From Reliance
ACS replied to savramesh's topic in Technical / OS related
Something called IBS installation which is done by them freely if connections are more. However, we had to remove it as it needs a UPS else keeps re-cycling. Procedure is what.. iether pay for it or get it free if u have more connections. Start by complaining to *333 or send a mail. -
Also plz update topic as "Unregistered SIM - R GSM problem" or something like that.
-
What about cases where some Number transfer (thru WW/WWE system) has happened from RUIM to non-RUIM phone. Can the RUIM Card be unlocked thru system again?

For the 70-80% ppl facing problems: These RComm guys are just testing their network/infra at the cost of Pre-paid GSM users by throwing freebies like Rs. 5 per day which also 'kismat se' we can use. i was never excited about this pre-paid thing anyways & the moment i read "Customer experience programme" it was re-affirmed. Awaiting launch of post-paid.. which means by then, 80-90% problems are already taken care.

Yes.. after 2-3 months only when things are smooth, postpaid shall be launched full fledgedly at the cost of 'Pre-paid user's experience'. Big Postpaid Customers/Corporates who will mostly subscribe GSM postpaid, cannot tolerate frequent hiccups such as these..

Its Feedback Time :) From My Customers For My Customers To Be.
ACS replied to Sadikk's topic in The Lounge
Hard work is always appreciated. -
Who said LG 3500/3510 are costing 1800? They should not exceed Rs. 1200 with RUIM Card. You may report this to higher officials by casually asking the WW/WWE for email IDs of the same.. Well, to answer your actual question.. Motorola W362 @ 3500 is a good buy.. search for it in the Forum.

In all, its a great offer. @ Honest According to RComm site.. "This talktime can be used to make all local calls and to send all local SMS to any network." Yes.. Correct.. -

Thats the trick n thats what im gonna do if there's no funny verification here.. Everyday Rs. 5/10 getting credited... use it for Local/STD/Roaming.. throw the sim after 90 days! Fool them for god's sake this time. -
^^^^ I Dont think that you will be able to retain your CDMA number in GSM. Else nobody would like to be R-CDMA.. hehe. Try BlackBerry 8703e @ 15K. With this, u will get a good handset & great after sales service too..

1) Hey Situ.. i checked out on Google. coolpad 728 is a dual CDMA/GSM phone buddy.. 2) This topic is in the wrong category.. There's no mention of Samsung anywhere.. Mods plz take action.

I fully sympathise with you dear friend.. But maybe your compensation amount made the court think that ur trying to loot Nokia. (Rs.11750 handset cost + Rs25000/-for mental agony+Rs.50000/-for loss of business+ Rs.10000 court expenses) Probably the court might have asked you to justify such amounts on every front.. Anyways, but u still got a raw deal.. Members is there any 'Higher Consumer Court' thing?

Below are excerpts from my friends email, to a higher authority in Motorola.. The service centre in Bangalore - Redington changed his mother board (In warranty) with a 2nd hand one when it went dead. To: 'W6023C@motorola.com' Subject: Complaint regarding your service centre Importance: High Kind Attn: Mr. Prashanth Dear Sir, I have received your contact details by your HO in Noida with regards to my complaint. I am using a Motoroal V9m handset and was given to your service centre in Infantry road Redignton for Repair on 08.08.2008, I have been chasing them even since then for the repair but unfortunately they took almost a month. It was said that mother boad had problem and needs to be replaced. After a months time when I go to the service centre to pick up handset which was confirmed by them that it was ready and can be picked up. They make me wait 2 hrs to deliver the handset. However when I try to activate my phone since its Reliance CDMA phone, it is found that mother board belongs to some other user and it is second hand. It also has data of the previous owner. Following are the details which you may need Redington Work order No. BL/Mo/08/**** dated 08.08.08 Serial No. ***** MDN No. RMRHSI**** You are kindly requested to take up the matter and revert asap. I have already waited for a month and not going to extend the wait any further. Thanking you and best regards, Atit Shah ------------------------ Motorola/ASC didn't dare reply to his mail, instead called him up & finally replaced it again with a new motherboard.. But action taken against the ASC for this so called 'service' is not known. 08/08/08 is truly wicked..

Its true.. i think u need to Speak to RComm only.. As WW/WWE's are unfit to help you in this case, try: customercare@relianceada.com, serviceassurancecell@relianceada.com, Rcomnodalofficer.MH@relianceada.com, rcomappellateauthority.MH@relianceada.com

Hey Buddy.. Too bad that u had a bad sales/after sales experience. We have spoken in great lengths that this phone does have very weak After Sales Service. But u need to visit the ASC's & as the phone in under warranty, get everything re-done. Get the Software upgraded & mention all our issues in a letter. It will be done or PM me if Spice ASC in your City doesn't listen..

But with Local calls @1 & STD @1.3 many members in the Forum feel that rates are only going down in the near future. Few others feel that rates will climb. As this is a very low GSM LT Prepaid re-charge, its fine.. but what about CDMA Prepaid's Jaadu 550 pack?

Idea Launched Netsetter Usb Modem For Laptop And Desktop !
ACS replied to Honest's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
If Idea can sell this Superior (Plug n play, Speed & Tariffs) Data Card at 2490/- then we should also expect RComm coming up with it to push both GSM Data Card sales as its doing in Prepaid SIMs. Is this technology or hardware not available in CDMA too or is it that RComm's infra cannot support it. Along with adding GSM transmitters they could have further enhanced their infrastructure once & for all, instead of someone climbing up & down every now n then.. making upgrades only when competition demands. -
CD for Win 98, 2000, NT(Though XP and Vista too) Got it? Still didn't understand by what ur trying to say.. If the CD is for all o/s' then why do you say u don't require a CD & that EC121 is plug n play?

^^^^^But as i mentioned earlier: Therefore, its not just about the duplication in questioning/posts but also duplication in Topics; Once these ambiguous topics take off then we all know that everything is re-discussed under the sun & which gets confusing for Members who seem clueless about the real Topic. Reason also being - It gets difficult for mods to take action after weeks before they realise or are reported. I have reported several times but ive been told that its too late. This action can take duplication out from the root. Secondly, can we have some kind of an expand button (+) as we see in most sites instead of the sub-topics running into pages?

How To Obtain Blackberry Services On Wm5 (imate Kjam) Handset
ACS replied to kshah's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
I don't know about the recent times but earlier i have seen them publishing brochures which said - "BB services on non-BB phones". They had specifically inserted photos of 10-12 different Sony/Nokia phones which were Airtel BB compatible at that time. Maybe they had some specific interest with Sony, Nokia earlier. I guess if Airtel CC can't help, then our techies only can help you find a '3rd alternative'.
