What? then what is the CD in the box for? Although it would be great if thats really the case. We can actually call it plug & play if the CD need not be carried around.

Oh yes.. although website is painstaking for them to update, the story here is different. They are probably not sure themselves how this 'GSM/CDMA dual infrastructure' thing is gonna work. Once congestion sets in, then they are in a better position to judge. Else it could embarass them if they be too loud with Publicity & updates.

Already launched in Karnataka with the exception of Bangalore City.. Maybe because the 'educated' ppl living in cities will break the WW's glass panes if not working fine..

^^^ You missed an opportunity.. not everybody gets such calls. You could have taken advantage by stating that you want some freebies to continue using the connection. Thats what we do with our Credit Cards.. make the banks compete & get better cash-back offers/upgrades etc.. Anyways, its not just that.. 1) Post the terror attacks, even if someone subscribes to 4-5 new connections & use only 2-3, the others might get barred & eventually suspended even though you assure them bill payment for all. 2) Also, if only i/c calls are being recvd, the security agencies are getting suspicious & making life miserable for the operators as they have to pro-actively take measures. Although im not sure why they called you up... probably they have really woken up from their sleep. Have their revenues fallen Guys?

LG 6330 in South was discontinued more than 2 years back. Maybe Info provided about price is also wrong in their Website.. Anybody aware of its current availability & price? It was a very good set.

True.. but the good reliable handsets nowadays in Reliance starts from 9K onwards. i.e. Nokia 6275 Instead go for a LG 3500 + USB Data Card if it solves your purpose.. I guess Honest has even mentioned the pro's of having separate such instruments.. But yes.. Data Card prices should go down.

No Dear.. Even its a dealer or WW/WWE they have to buy at Distributor Price. Only BB Unlimited plan comes probably at half the cost as its naturally high priced. RComm is not that dildaar.. what do u think?

Same price as others.. 2490 + activation. RUIM based? RComm data cards have never been RUIM based till now except in case when 'worked upon'.

With regards to speed.. try in any other location to get a complete picture.. Not sure about the error or a halt in send/recv data..

6265 has been having problems since Day 1. Display problem.. phone hangs.. camera starts automatically. Manufacturing defect in 5 out of 10 pieces. Nokia ASC's do nothing but rub salt all over the wounds.. pathetic ppl.

Seems like Dual GSM as its called SIM only in GSM. In CDMA its called RUIM.

Do you mean something like the Reliance World Edition 8830 phone with IR SIM card slot. Then its very good @ 9999. Just need to take necessary precautions which can be clarified. I dont think there is an BB 8830 in pure GSM..

i think the price includes everythin includin customs. The only extra cost might be shippin charge to ur personal address. That might be around 500 bucks... So total might be around 12k. Would there be a proper international Term instead of 'Shipping' i.e. meant for transportation both by Land & Sea ? Earlier even when e-shopping & delivery was limited/famous in US, they used to call mere Delivery as - 'Shipping'. Where's the ship here? Usage of this word in both senses is confusing. This proves how unorganised RComm is from within.. not just the outside. They themselves don't know when the final launch day is coming. They call it 'Surprise' for those who didn't know. Dear Friend, This does not show the unorganized behaviour of RCOM, but in fact it highlights the marketing strategy of RCOM. They are creating a hype for a product. The number of forums and topics created for the RCOM GSM launch stand testimony to it. Now it is every telecom analysts and enthusuaists dream for RCOM to launch its GSM service. Even without spending a single rupee on marketing RELIANCE GSM, look at the amount of followers they have, look at the weightage they have managed to give their product, and all this without spending a single rupee for advertisements and marketing of their services. Hats off to them!!!!!!!! You are probably right my friend.. I was under the impression that RComm has been unofficially announcing & changing dates all this while..
