As i replied earlier to Dkaile when he posted - "too much work & no play for Reliance.. let them sleep." Probably, its the competition that will finally make them do this as TATA is more pro-active than reactive.. unlike Reliance. Nevertheless, i also agree that its really heartening to see such efforts/pain taken by fellow RimWebians.. Probably next time the person writing to them can send them this link i.e. full of their silly automated responses, which might embarass them & bring about some change in their processes!

That's almost exactly what we are saying.. Tata brought around Virgin to add Brand value.. but it failed miserably. Niether of them have achieved anything. Truth is only RimWebians seem to be knowing more about Tata's Tariffs.. Else everybody else sings Hutch, Airtel & Reliance because of their strong Brand Name & recall value..

Telecom Ministers have a history of abusing Power & getting caught in controversies. First it was Pramod Mahajan (BJP) who was accused of taking money from RComm & he resigned immdtly. This Raja guy too, looks like crook hired by the DMK Party. Today, there is no industry booming like telecom & this fellow has denied the exchequer Billions which could have come to some good use for the country which has recently given a 60,000 crore waiver to its farmers. Today, Swan & Unitech are laughing all the way to the Bank as they have already made 3 times return of their investment ! Hoping that after setting up their infrastructure, they flop and pay a heavy price. I don't think Indian Market will support so many players, just look at Virgin Mobile ! Although competition is always good but eventually many have to disappear or be taken over. This might bring in some sense to Foreign Investors, who currently seem to have still made the right decision.

You need to visit the Nokia Website & register your complaint there.. Bombard both their International & National Customer Care Mail IDs. Mention the name of their ASC & complaint that it helping in spoiling their name further..

bro digital cameras will b digital cameras......mobile phone cameras cant take their place......but then one thing what makes phone cameras to essential is that they r the everyday objects u carry with u and since 90% of the times u would just take pictures randomly so in such cases its not possible to carry a seperate digital camera Even if the input is great, output too should be good.. For eg. unless the photos taken in 12 M.P. camera phone don't look good on screen (Screen should be high resolution), the fellow is going to lose interest unless he regularly transfers photos to his comp.

10 countries on CDMA. Will the operators burn down their infrastructure? If its there since so much time, its here to stay.. In case you're talking about CDMA phone manufacturers, the last player will have monopoly which nobody can bear. So this will never stop.

Finally saw this set & i must add that the LG 3500, although having a funny curve, still feels better in hand. This phone has funnier buttons in the Criss-Cross Menu on the top. The buttons on the LG 3500 feel much better. Apart from that, its a clone in the inside !

Hi Guys.. My friend had a Micro SD Card previously being used with Spice D88n with a Back up of 850 Phonebook contacts. He bought a Samsung Max as he was fed up with Spice problems. Another mistake made without thinking! Anyways, we inserted the Micro SD card trying to see if we can copy the contacts to the Max. To our surprise, when we went to Content Box, External Memory options, we could see the entire list of 850 contacts but had no clue what to do with it as there were no copy/move options to phone memory. (Although phone has only 500 contacts). At some point of time we did come across all names with check boxes but couldn't figure out again how it happened. =------= BTW.. From the beginning Spice ASC has been saying that the Micro SD Card Phonebook Import/Export option is only for Spice & spice alone. Then how was it possible that Samsung MAx was able to read the contacts stored/embedded in the Micro Card? Is it because Samsung too Supports vcf format?) =------= Has anybody tried this or got a solution?

Yes, this brochure was found lying outside my house.. pretty good offer, i just missed it.. I am already using the Home 499 Combo @ 2MBps & 1 GB Free Data Exchange since 1 month. But its a loot after 1 GB usage @80p per MB, i have already crossed 1.3 GB. Will have to shift to 777 Combo with 4 GB @ 2 MBps. Speed too is bad & not at 2 MBps as the Airtel NetXpert promises.

I have never experienced any headache because of talking for hours on Reliance. I am using it since its inception. There are several reports published so far in news paper says GSM phones are most dangerous because it can cause even cancer. People have experience that when you keep a GSM nokia near a computer monitor, the monitor fickers when there is an incoming call/sms, the same is not true for any CDMA phone. I think CDMA should be promoted for health reasons too. Not talking about the radiation levels here.. But if the phone heats up (which is in 80% Reliance phones when spoken for long), it gives you a headache..

Just go to the ASC & get a Free Software upgradation done.. This should take care of everything. provided that particulat centre promises to have the latest version. Call them prior & ask..
