Aren't we forgetting TATA here? What is it that TATA provides (In the context of this thread) which RComm doesn't ? Along with blaming Reliance, we should also be after TATA or CDMA operators itself, in general..

Hey i don't agree that Reliance's campaigns are dull.. After they have taken over Mudra, their ads have better flavour. eg. Air, Food, Water, Network.. BlackBerry.. Digital voice etc. Of course, they are no match for Airtel yet.. but catching up. Sehwag ki maa.. ki yaad aa gayii.

Thats the problem with most WW/WWE's here too.. Along with handset, they will charge for new activation/connection charges whether or not u apply for one. Make them talk to *333 that u r being overcharged.. This should be enough for them else threaten them that you will complain to Rcomm town office in your city.. (Assuming price is around 1K)

The above points are to be noted.. I do not know much about cloning but yes, they sure do make a lot of moolah by having the R-World thing. In my Company itself, we keep seeing a lot of bollywood/wallpaper downloads in bills. How else will they make money? With competitive tariffs? No. My another question was, are they scared that these foreign handsets may interfere with the billing in any way? As they are hacked into, could they prevent billing perhaps?

Warranty naam ki cheez hai ki nahi ? Some ASC's will themselves admit these issues when quizzed. After all this doesn't work, gimme your respective locations.. i can try & give u details for the Service Centre Managers (Employed directly by Spice in each Circle) who watch over these ASC's. Issues can be escalated to these managers as 'some' ASC's are nothing but businessman, wanting to loot..

Plz talk to the *333 - 'Netconnect technical team' only. If they can't solve the problem, insist that their engineer must pay a site visit. This happens in 48hrs.. this service has started few months back for DC's & LL phones. In case the engineer cant do anything, then this should be taken to the (ASC) Authorised Service Centre & NOT Webworld. I don't understand why the CC guys have asked you to visit the WW/WWE. Max they can do is restore your services/connection in case of any problems. If ASC can't help, ask them to issue a DOA Certificate..

Not trying to add fuel to the fire here, but only adding this as things seemed to have cooled down.. We all very concerned as to why this letter has come to Arun regarding one of our mods.. There seems to have been some more history behind this spat as Dkaile had pointed out in one of the threads. After all, there should be complete transparency for RimWebians, as this letter has accusations but with incomplete information. In case, if there really is a point, we would like to study it since its about our moderator @Honest. Not taking away anything from what Dkaile/Sadikk are feeling. Nobody will take such a step unless really hurt. Can we pl have the links to those particular threads, where such 'debates' were blown out of proportion.

Ever wondered why only the word - 'Chinese' throws up mixed reactions.. Mixed, because since years they were regarded as copycats/inferior quality manufacturers etc. But recently, after various collaborations with MNC's such as Sony, IBM etc. quality control has stepped in. But after years of wait & watch, it seems My Dear Friends, its limited to those Brands alone.. Of course Indian Importers are to be blamed... but kya karega ? jo dikhta hai, wo bikta hai. Therefore, there is a school of thought encouraging boycott of such products especially due to health issues. (The most important thing which should matter) Right from High Lead content in US toys to Chinese milk products with high levels of Melamine. Not that our Doodhwala's don't mix Urea in Milk or Spurious liquor is not sold in the Country. There seems to be no proper 'control' measures adopted by iether Govt's. (All types of Control) But this doesn't seem to happen with other Countries. Apart from the Western World, we are relieved to see gadgets made in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia & even Vietnam. Is it just our mindset or really these Countries are good at it ? So when will this 'Chinese' mindset go.. @ Sadikk.. How's this for bringing the topic back on track.. or did you mean this Chinese model.. Hehe.

Its frustrating now.. None of the Manufacturers have perfected the art of CDMA mobile technology. LG has got some success after its replaced its Green/Orange batteries. Moto keeps introducing phones & withdrawing in no time. Samsung is trying hard to make a comeback after almost giving up during the slim 'Boss' days. Similarly in nokia.. Model 1325 - Rs 2000 Model 2505 - Rs. 4000 Model 6088 - Rs. 6000 ... All failures with some problems or the other. Only 6275 sells with its strictly ok battery back-up. When will RComm get serious about its mid-high range buyers who swear by Nokia ? Or should we say, when will Nokia get serious about manufacturing, with an equal importance put into research ?

In all my related posts, i have tried mentioning that the C810 & D88n phones have speaker issues.. You may get it replaced with the ASC.. as its in warranty.
