Do a small exercise.. Whever u move around the city, take another mobile or ask someone to keep calling u. If this problem persists in diff localities in the same city, then its truly a phone problem.. Else welcome to the world of complex telecom network..

The downloaded 'drivers' could be just patches which cling on to the Drivers originally loaded from the CD.. If u hv recently bought this EC315 (5-6 months back), the Vista drivers would hv already been loaded on the CD itself. Else, first get hold of a CD atleast with XP, then dowload the Vista drivers & try. This forum has already got a lot of troubleshooting guides for the same.. simply google search.

You need to understand that this case is as simple as low network.. low signal hence low speed/performance. What can be done is only left to Reliance. Tell the WW that you are interested in going in for 10-15 Data cards / Mobile connections but only if the Network problem is resolved. They might talk to their town office & do a rough study of Investement vs Revenue vs Risk of u not buying. Better sound genuine by getting hold of a Tata proposal by mail/hard copy (u know how) to fox them.. All this for the Rs. 3000 u mentioned..

Strange.. Things should be improving here since other Data Cards are stopped after its entry. This is not a mobile phone which Reliance introduces & throws it in the market to make money. Tech ppl.. plz help in ratifying this issue.

Also for the records.. The vibration in Spice D 88n strangely stops working if the Signal indicator light is turned off.. Wherever you search in the phone, it cant get restored unless you reverse your earlier option.

If you google search the forum, you will surely stumble upon the settings described in detail.. For WAP/Netconnect/email etc..

As we all know, many mobile phones in general have manufacturing defects.. What r u gonna do when the chinese model has one. We have many ppl saying there'r no issues. Atleast u hv some kinda support for 'White' sets rather than the chinese in grey market. After all its not about 500-600 rupees but a hard earned 5000-6000 by u r yur dad. Also lets put a 'NO' to grey sets although attractive. Sorry for getting emotional about it.

BSNL/MTNL etc. are addressed well in TOI.. Some time back, we all were confused if all were the same.

Hey buddy, for that they need to enter CDMA.. Install towers/equipments etc.. I guess they will be happy with GSM.

His usage is for 15 days every 3 MONTHS not every month.. Its advisable to go for Freedom 650 plan when in India & convert is back to 'Pay as you go - 175 rental' when u leave india. The advance rental payment part needs to be looked into while doing this - Arun plz advise. Else best could be a Prepaid if a plan like Freedom 650 would be available.. no idea of Prepaid.

Correct.. only the service centre can take care of this problem. Unless our dear friends in this forum can help with some 'master code'. Try 0000 which used to be the standard default lock code in RComm. Service centre no's can be taken from *333, call n go. Since their lists are always outdated..

@ bhupal Even the 512 MB Memory card was already available in D 88 n. This is nothing but a different design with 'buttons' finally..

Im sorry, not a tech guy. 1) Could you plz explain me what is 'compatibility mode of Windows XP SP2'. 2) Any Modem Drivers compatible with XP can be converted to suit Vista? 3) If you remember. there were issues when Data cards couldnt work with Vista. Was this a simpler solution instead of finding & loading software patches? 4) Will this be a long term solution without problems? Thanks,

@ V Malhotra Hey buddy its wrong to assume that this phone will not come to Reliance.. Its as good as saying that BB would not like this model in a growing top-end market like India. So if BB Curve/Pearl can be sold why not this. Its true that currently RComm may not support features like EVDO etc. Just like it sells Pearl/Curve (which boast of a GPS) without fully supporting its features..

Price Rs.2490 Same. @ Amit Jain Your observation could be right as you may be getting market feedback being a WWE.. But on the basis of Chinese / non chinese is confusing.. All are produced in China right ? Nevertheless, everybody seems fed up with the designs of ZTE 880 & EC 325. This is simple. hoping that it also performs well as i will be buying it.

Also for your info i had spoken to the Spice ASC manager (employed by Spice to oversee all ASC's in the city) who also was not sure about the same since the site itself doesnt feature the Drivers.. So could you pl share the path to get these vista Netconnect drivers.. Totally going by your words i shall suggest my friend tomo to buy one. If possible could you plz upload the Drivers here.. Thanks .. But C810 doent support Vista netconnect as per the Spicemobile website.. Are the drivers available anywhere else? & does it but work?

The modem drivers are available on the Spicemobile.in site But my question is whether anybody tried Vista Netconnectivity.. these drivers were also available but it being a 'Spice', cant take chances..

The only phones with huge speaker problems are both Spice C810 & D88n. Especially D88n..

These questions can be posted in the relevant threads already running.. In fact once you go thru them , you might not even post these questions as it may be repeating..

Now why would any body buy a pearl when the Curve is here.. You cant even browse properly in the pearl's smaller screen..
