Super impressed with this one.. although im not that smartphone savvy.. And how things have changed in the last 7-8 months, its crazzy.. I have seen members changing phones every 1-2 months as something new has come.. Very diff to catch-up with technology..

@ashoksoft Youre asking abt ruim enabled handsets OR Pcmcia cards? Handsets are all baap ke zamane ka (non-ruim) B/W sets. Pcmcia cards can be unlocked for Ruim, but i donno how to do it. @kshah Our pcmcia cards have always been 1x

Currently using McAfee.. such a pain, totally slowing down my little Atom enabled Netbook ! Also, the damn thing doesn't disable/turn-off if i want it to (to open CDMA workshop).. tried all moves ! Taking this opportunity to both criticize as well as seek help.. plz PM me a solution guys !!

Hey Rajan.. i too had a similar experience.. few hilarious points: * Its a newly launched Sprint BB model ! * It works with both CDMA/GSM, just insert the SIM, why do u need to further program it ? * We have the best deals, can i help you with other phones available ? I tried educating the guy for 2 mins on the 8830 WE (of whatever i knew) and he went 'duh.. huh' They had 'no technical assistance' in my case, so the fun sadly stopped there..

^^^ Thats www.speakasiaonline.com Pay $200+something for Registration & earn for every completed survey as a 'Panelist'. You earn some $20/Survey/week for a year. (52 weeks or so, thats the ROI & time) Personally, im not very comfortable with paid surveys with such high upfront investments/registrations ($200+). If they really value your feedback & want to pay, have a smaller registration fee & collect scanned docs as Id/Address proof to make the survey watertight... In case, they go bust, the problem may compound for a panelist, as this too has a referral system.. sabko sathmein leke dooboge ! But our dear member @Vikasmahajan is a die hard panelist & vouches for the same.. interested members can contact him & know more on the returns & genuineness at the same time..

Not an expert in this field but i have seen Norton really improve from its earlier Sluggish behaviour. Its now pretty smooth & my specific vote goes out to Norton 360 whose trial versions i have been enjoying. But after reading this thread, i need to familiarize myself with many other free & fast AVs !

I have seen 3 of my clients getting bills in excess of 6k-8k over and above their normal usage. * On close scrutiny of their itemized bill, we noticed calls being made simultaneously from 2 diff circles at the same time! * All ISD calls were made & finished within few hours time with each call made within gap of secs.. (like players in illegal IVR business) * We shot mails highlighting such details to town office back-end team to get a waiver.. which was successful in all cases. * Friends who don't get itemized billing, can request for a CDR report upto 3-6 months old.. i can help in some cases. Be careful of ppl calling you & asking to dial a number/send sms for any network/backend issue.. i think its a bl**dy new way of cloning especially official blackberry's. All 3 cases i noticed were official BB phones !

But i feel Kapil uncle will do a good job if he sticks to this.. DMK buggers cannot be trusted anymore in telecom.. they're now veterans in looting telecom dept.

Good to be in the Company of like minded ppl.. I don't remember when was the last time i made blind purchases @ MRP. Iether buy from Croma with extended warranty which hardly any other store offers.. Else, carefully buy stuff from Brand Factory type stores OR bulk buy during festive offers. Just be very careful before purchase & identify any cosmetic damages if any.. Don't get into gyan given by other stores about "oh that is Off-season sale"., will you not wear the same shirt/clothes for coming 1-2 years if bought during 'On season' ?

Why doesn't the media ever take expose this 'MNP Scam'. They're only interested in Raja since he is a politician & a bakra type guy.. You know why, revenue generated through telecom advertisements will stop.. if they train guns at telecom biggies !
