Can anyone tell me how to make a corby silent when it starts ringing ? I cant find any button to make it silent and unlike nokia's where touching the volume control button makes the phone silent this only decreases the volume and i have to make the volume zero to make it stop ringing ! Is there any other method ?

I tried having a look at it through PC Sync but it does not show any spaces preceding the names hence nothing is to be deleted! At the same time the name search happens only if i enter a space and alphabet....if edit an entry...save it without any editing then it becomes fine and the imaginary space gets deleted ! very funny problem...

Hi, can anyone tell me the method to change the banner in Samsung Corby from the default Reliance (since i' am in reliance network) to whatever i want. I had changed this in my earlier Nokia by changing the details in the SIM but i dont know how this can be done on Corby and also since the SIM is an OMH sim Thanks

Thanks Baskhit, what you said made sense as i did get the search to work when i added a space in the beginning. How to remove spaces on all names using the sync program ?

i' am facing a peculiar problem with my Corby. The phone book search does not work and when i type any starting alphabet or even a bunch of letters, the result is shown as "Empty". Its maddening to scroll to a particular entry to dial a number as the scrolling is also by touch ! Does anyone know a solution for this problem ? Thanks a ton in advance !

i was able to finally connect using the New PC Studio software downloaded from the Corby website for CDMA but there are issues transferring my phone book from earlier phone. the .csv file does not get transferred properly as in only the names get onto the list but no other details are getting updated. still trying to find a way as i dont have the patience to type 350+ numbers into the phone and also the touch screen is not as easy as the normal keyboard that i' am used to

I bought a new Samsung Corby Speed and wanted to transfer my phone book backed up as a .csv file from my Nokia phone. I' am unable to connect the Corby through the Samsung PC Studio (latest version 7). When i try to connect through Blue tooth it says Authentication failed even though i give necessary permissions every time when i' am prompted for it and the USB cable is not being identified by the Studio 7 even though i' am able to connect to the internet by dial up networking using the same cable ! It's kind of funny that the same cable is not identified by the Samsung PC Studio. I use Windows 7 as OS. Can anyone in here help me sort this problem of me not being able to transfer my phone book by connecting through Samsung Studio 7 on a WIndows 7 OS Laptop ? thanks a ton

Reliance themselves said BB cannot be used for Reliance netconnect and only Blackberry services work on them for connecting to net. I want to connect to the net through Blackberry phone but without subscribing to blackberry service and just using the reliance netconnect.

Can anyone tell me whether Blackberry phones can be used for Reliance netconnect so that i can connect from my Laptop to the internet without subscribing to Blackberry plans ?

Does anyone sell Palm Pre which works for Reliance in India ?
